I believe so.  I don't have much experience with 23.a saves.  It has both the region folder and the save folder.

Yeah you need to put in the region folder and the .sav file right into the save folder in DF. Don't rename them.

Alright. Sorry I haven't made an update, just been feeling a little down lately. Not sure why, but I'm sure it'll pass in fairly short order. I'll try to motivate myself to get an update done within the next three days.

Sorry to hear that, there was an international epidemic of mind-flu, but I hear its clearing up right now.

Get happy soon.

I opened the save, and I discovered that the land is flooded with lava already.

no, EVERYTHING. including the dwarves.

The tunnel I had prepared from the lance of armok barrel to the cave river was actually intended for that purpose in the first place, on a small scale. The idea was to run an aqueduct over the lance of armok coolant line (filled with water), which would enable the magma-flooding of the cave river area.

Just remember, bridges don't block fluids in this version. I built the gold bridge near the river before I discovered that, and before I planned to flood the area with magma.

@Splint:

I'd be happy to swap turns with you if you're not feeling up to it right now. (Assuming mastahcheese is okay with it, of course.)

We already skipped my turn, I killed the fort by accident and savescummed.
Go ahead if he's ok with it.

May as well. I'm piddling with Spearbreakers as it is, so hopefully I'll be more into playing later on.

Okiedokie then. I'm off to DL the save.

Also, I have no memory of anything that happened in any of the preceding turns, and I have next to no experience with 2D, so I'm effectively flying completely blind! :D First order of business: figure out which levers I shouldn't pull, preferably by pulling all of them.

Make sure you don't pull the levers that will flood the inside of the fort with magma!
