I have no idea.  Downloaded one of the der saves that had Dfhack in it and switched the saves.

If you're not sure, just redownload DFHack-23a and extract it (delete the old "hack/" folder first, just to be safe); if it complains that "Serialized heap access patch has not been applied!", then apply [0x31E74F : 94 -> 95] and it should work (and also not randomly crash).

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

Ok, finally done with a lot of real life stuff, so I should be able to actually get to work on this.  BUt before I get too far, how do I operate the magma/lava cannon, how do I get the farms working, and where is the lever for the front gate?

Also what does the lever on the rock face at the bottom of the map do? I would be a good dwarven overlord and pull it, but I'm afraid that it might be some sort of self destruct mechanism.
First update should be either later tonight or tommorow morning.

Pull it! Nobody knows what the levers do anyway, do it the fun way!

But I value the lives of my gently dwarves!
Who apparently revel in the deaths of poor gentle creatures.... WTF? Elves won't accept bones now too?

Don't pull it. I didn't build it and I don't know what it does.

Thank you.
That should save about 50 lives or so. At least.

Did you find the farm lever?

Also a warning: In this version bridges do not block water or lava flow when raised. Don't lower the lance of armok shield as that lets lava out while preventing any nasty things getting in. That's right, the raised bridge does not block the lava going out, but prevents enemies getting in.

You need to build an outside depot, I think, since humans won't be able to bring their wagons in. The other trade depot area hasn't been finished yet and you'll need a road to it.

I did.  Made a plump helmet farm, quarry bush farm, and a cave wheat farm.

The following manuscripts was obtained from withing the tomb of Lightningfalcon II, The Mighty Enlightened Ruler an Revolutionary of CraftedDreams-

Inarguaration Speech, dated 1st Granite, 1056-
My fellow dwarves... my brothers, my sisters.  Today is a great day for all of dwarven kind.  Why, might you ask? For today histories very course has been changed.  For Armok himself has sent me a vision! A vision of things to come! For I have seen the future! I have seen the events that would of passed.  Our kings... our ministers, our very aristcracy, in their endless greed, they would of doomed us all! Released things never meant to be seen by mortals! The sky was filled with fire, the rivers ran red with blood, our meeting halls filled with the corpses of our spouses and children! And for what?  So the fascist nobels could have their mugs, their chairs, and their cloaks made out of a pretty blue metal! I, as a dwarf, could not allow this to pass!  From now on, we are independent from those who would oppress us for their own capitalistic greed!  The rebellion has begun my brothers! Rise up and overthrow those who would have us dig too deep, and unleash the demon spawn upon the world!

Personal notes, dated first of Felsite, 1056-
The rebellion has entered full swing.  With the Lance in our hands, the Mountainhomes are afraid to act.  The humans seem not to care about what's going on, and no one cares about the those beardless elves think.  A couple came in hopes to 'Trade' with us.  I personally threw a totem made from a cat skull at them.

(Note, I did not know that elves didn't like bone stuff in this version.)

They don't like stuff that is made using wood and/or dead animals. Make a soap trade depot! It's made from dead trees AND dead animals!
