Could I change to a wizard? Thinking about it, it would probably fit my character as well as the play style I have in mind better. If I can't, it's no big loss.

 Sure, it's hard to think of many direct damage spatial manipulation spells anyway.
 And yeah, the Fighter needs more wuv. The class skill is really good, actually, since each ability can only have 2 charges. It's the anti-attrition class, capable of performing consistently both in the start and the end of a battle as well as getting back into the action quickly without spending much time to prepare his abilities, as opposed to the Guardian and Cleric, which are more effective in late game, or the Chaneller and Brute, which are effective until they run out of abilities or until their enemy sets up a defense to counter them.

Name:Reginald Haven

Class: Fighter

Apperence: Standing 5' 10" with dark brown hair and defined features, Reginald would be considered rather dashing if it wasn't for the numerous terrible scars covering his entire body.

Bio: Once upon time, Reginald was a fairly normal boy with dreams of becoming a great warrior, who could fell kings and dragons alike by the might of his sword. Then, at age 12, his silly daydreams became a possiblity when his parents apprenticed him to the local baron's master of arms, where he trained nght and day in the art of combat, his fighting style focused on controlling the flow of combat through distance and postion, allowing his to press the attack or retreat on a whim. Over the years, his training and dedication to his craft earned him the respect of his elders, as well as attracting the attention of the royal court. At the age of 22, he was offered a position in the king's court as a captain of the royal guard and master of arms. On the fast track to fame and fortune, he soon became known thoughout the kingdom as one of the great defenders of the relem. As fate would have it, his deeds also earned him the affections of the king's youngest daughter, and before long they fell deeply in love. It was the beginning of the end. Eventually, the king uncovered the whole affair, and in a fit of rage ordered Reginald sezied and executed. Reginald, however, managed to cut his way through the castle garrison and escape. He spent the next seven years on the run from bounty hunters and soldiers alike, during which he learned to battle his opponents in unusual manners, using counter attacks to quickly dispach his enemies along with kicks and sweeps to dislodge their footing. In the end, though, it was not his skill with the blade, but his abilty to push through injuries that would cripple or kill a lesser man and continue the fight that his legend was founded on, leading to the popular myth that he was immortal. Fate, however, dispelled the myth when he was shot dead by a poacher in the haze of twilight, mistaken for a passing deer.

2 to a section. Who starts where is determined by a pattern.

Edit: I decided to go with the NPC. I just had an idea of how to start an actual plot and have The Ritual 3 be a non-PvP story-based continuation. I just think that I'm kind of developing a fictional universe, a game world, and I can advance the idea further.

This was planned to happen in the first Ritual, but in a Simple sort of way, did not happen.

The NPC will be much more powerful than the PCs and I may start a plot halfway into the game. Check the last post. I updated it while you were posting.

 Um...there wasn't an NPC in The Ritual, as far as I remember. Simple had one kill, which was a player that I can't remember, but Simple was the offense fighter and the other guy was the offense scout.
