Her claws glow again, and she coils up slightly as it approaches. Then, she jumps, and tries to slam down on it's back, slashing with her lightning infused claws.

The combined effect of being hit with another tree, a sink, and being ripped apart...

Causes the thing to blow apart quite violently before Ke even touches it. How anticlimatic.

Well, aside from the massive quantity of high-velocity machine parts that get sent flying around. Some of them hit Maria, and one particularly exceptional one breaks open a chunk of her left arm, revealing gleaming gears and clockwork.

Also..the original sword falls to the ground, minus all the gears.

"Well, that was...interesting."

Maria cautiously picks up the fallen blade, only for it to suddenly materialize a sheath, fortunately made of normal metal, that flips closed to cover the entire sword, handle and all.

"And I thought I had taken care of whatever was up with this sword... Oh, well."

She chuckles at Kwykathen. "And you made a lot of wood chips."

She examines his wound in greater detail regardless of whether he agrees or not. (Not that he should have any reason to disagree...)
