Lucas begins laughing.
"Really? That's it? This is just a walking ammo box, for me."
He begins to twist it apart while launching some bursts of shrapnel out the rifle.

Richard runs upstairs.

((Going to sleep.))

[Vorthon]

"TENORIAS' BLOODY MAW!"

Kwykathen hops backwards, clutching at her foot.

[Cassandra]

She slithers away from Barth, and her eyes flicker to black as she starts to shift...

[Twi]

Well, it's finally finished, complete with teeth and claws. And now it's moving, and tries to step on the closest people to it: Maria and Kwykathen. Maria, luckily, is already running and easily avoids it by virtue of not being there.

As for the other attacks: It shrugs off Silver's fire and seems only mildly irritated by Lucas's rifle, but his attempt to twist it up is slightly more successful. Apparently, however, the bent body is not enough to actually impair its operation.

A bunch of shiny lights appear around it and start moving around and changing colors.

[OREOSOME]

He starts ripping parts out in addition to the twisting now.

[Cassandra]

She continues to growl, her claws cutting through her hands as she grows in size, her eyes growing empty, her skin covering itself in shiny metal plates. Her fangs grow much larger. All in all, by the time it's finished, she wouldn't be a cute snake girl any more. She snarls at the spider, and her claws start glowing.

[Twi]

Maria notices the fact that Ke is turning into something very scary behind her.

"Well...can't say I expected that one."

She seems...surprisingly calm.

[Cassandra]

She lifts her claws to the sky, before pointing them at the spider. An arc of lightning would strike at the machine. Someone's been watching too many LPs on Richard's tablet.

James finally takes a shot at the spider, aiming for one of the pulleys on its leg.

[Vorthon]

Kwykathen dodges out of the way, and uproots a small tree, using it as a club to bash the mechano-spider.

Nayaru takes a brick out of the couch, looks it over, then shrugs and throws it behind her (directly at the monster).

Bit by bit, the spider begins to lose pieces under all those attacks. Individually, though, they have little effect on the spider. For instance, Kwykathen's tree is turn into woodchips.

Ke's lightning bolt causes it to slow for a moment as electricity arcs through and over its body. Unfortunately, this seems to backfire, as a moment later it lets out a shrieking cry as the various machines spin up to incredibly fast speeds. It's a wonder it isn't ripping itself apart, but perhaps it will if pushed hard enough.

In the present, though, it charges (somewhat clumsily) at Ke, head lowered in an attempt to catch her in its 'mouth', not that any other part would have much of a different end result.

...Also it gets hit by a brick, knocking a little bit off.

[Vorthon]

Kwykathen roars in rage, grabbing another tree and sweeping low, in an attempt to knock the thing off its legs.
