That is, until it rather suddenly stops doing anything.

"....Oookaaaay." She cautiously backs away from the sword, not wanting to get blown up or what have you.

In any event, the center of the growing mass of gears soon rises above her reach. Until it finally starts to take shape. A massive spider-like monster made entirely of gears and pulleys and wheels and cranks and cams, all spinning at breakneck speed. Well...it's still working on the head and legs...

Maria, naturally, puts her hand on her book. This time, though, it glows a gentle blue.

"Doubt I can damage a machine like that...But I can still heal the rest of you."
