Wow, we need a new display. Anyone have ideas?

What do you mean by new display? Because if you're talking about the B11 thing I do have one idea. Could you be more specific as to what is the issue?

Put pictures on the grid to represent units while maybe having the backdrop a different color depending on the terrain.

Yeah, I kind of agree, not being able to see the terrain units are on is a pretty big problem. Which like you said could be fixed by color or a texture pretty easily.

If you keep using excel, you might want to expand the size of the text and the cells instead of just stretching the picture out.

I'm actually doing this on a word table. Alright version 3 will have colours instead of numbers for terrain. Actually... Alright... I think I'm gonna do that right now instead of waiting. I think it'll help a lot. I'll change the rules to reflect this in a moment.

I would use excel if you have it, its much better for anything using tables, and it would be very easy to keep record of the turns and such as well.

Ah but here's a problem. How to make sure that the spaces are all visible? The color thing will block out the border.

Just put a border around every cell, as long as you can find a color different for the terrain colors for the borders, it shouldn't be a problem.

Oh that is so much better thank you. I'm very pleased now that will make this so much easier. Now to continue planning.

Sounds good, if possible. I find it tough to tell what's what.

I really like the new display, all square.

Zomara0292. I put that at the bottom in an edit, sorry if someone missed it. I gotta say I really like the new display too. I think I may keep it over the picture idea.

You cannot attack diagonally. I really need to rewrite the rules to be clearer on certain issues.

*Bad Map fix: H2 is now an open space. Otherwise it'd be a tie forever due to Zomara's cleric being unable to move.
