"This creature we now face is a beast from outside our reality, from the Far Realms. It is refered to as "Father Llymic" By those who worship it, but it's own name is not known to us. It is a beast of frigid darkness, but can also take the form of an elderly elven male. The last time we fought it, we bound it under the black ice, far to the north- destroying it simply wasn't an option. Myself, well....Would you believe me if I told you I knew this was going to happen? When he would begin to slip his bonds, someone would come to rebind my spirit to my form, simple. I'd say your best chance is to slay it on the eve of it's awakening, and to gather allies for that end. I do not have a "Badass" Helmet"

Questions from Rosun:

During the breaking of the world, all of the wizards, sorcerers, clerics and other powerful mages lost their powers or died. Was this because of the presence of the enemy, or a result of them being banished? In either case, how far in space, time and dimension does this effect spread? Are we beyond that power? If so, could the Gods be contacted, or ancient wizardry be performed here within the tomb?

Do the servants of this creature have any weaknesses? Special strengths unknown to us? Where do they come from?

On a side note, and no lying now, are you secretly a creature of the Far Realms plotting to trick us into slaying Father Llymic in order to break the bounds of your temporal prison in the desert and thereby free yourself to destroy Oerth?

Anyways...
How much are we allowed to rebuild our characters? I've asked multiple times, kai's asked at least once, neither has been answered that I've seen. I need to know if I can replace a level or two of Truenamer with Psion before I level up, which I imagine would be good to do sometime...

Martek personally thinks it's more of a residual aftereffect of the sealing spell than anything else. He knows the standard weakness of spawn (Outsider (Chaotic) bane weapons, Holy weapons, Axiomatic weapons, Sonic damage, and daylight).

The scouts say that the horde came from the black ice, to the north, and appears to be lead by an Elderly looking Elf.

By the way, for one of my Powers, I'm torn between Astral Construct and Control Flame. One seems like a lot of work, the other seems...limited. Advice, party members?

Your caster level is so pathetically low it really won't matter. You might want to rebuild him from the ground up, which I would allow.

Despite sounding really cool, Control Flames isn't actually very good. At manifester level 8 (where you'd be if you go all Psion and ditch all your Truename skills), you get a 1 square foot fire that does 2d6 damage per round to a single person, less fire resistance, Reflex negates.

E: If you want a power that is really good for both utility and combat, nothing beats Psionic Minor Creation.

We could fluff Drak's "rebirth" in the skill area as him being tossed against a wall and having his brain connections rearranged after massive brain trauma.
