I've looked at the buff utterances, and they are not what you describe. You are flat-out wrong. Most of them last 5 rounds as a base, and almost all of them can be further augmented,

@Grek: Can I have the true-seeing gem? I noticed you seem to have claimed all three of them, but I could sorely use some extra modes of vision.

Sure, as long as we're not leaving them behind/selling them.

If Drak doesn't want the amulet of the silver tongue, I'll take it.

Oops. I THINK I also claimed the healing gem that Asraen has steadfastly refused to relinquish. :P I swear I will make him into a DPS-Tank of Regeneration +5 before the campaign's end. He already is, but even more so. At this point, I can now heal major amounts of health (70-ish) and also can cure physical attribute damage.

Mantle is a fancy word for "cloak".

Anyways, advice. I really don't feel like Drak is good for much except finishing off foes, occasional awesomeness, and--dare I admit it--comic relief. I don't want to be that, I want to be productive. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to do that?

Drakruldus is great comic relief. :P And he has more Crowning Moments of Awesome per capita than anyone else in the party, oddly enough. That's not to say we don't have a ton of them as it is, just that Drak pulls a surprising amount of them.

Also, this made me picture an enemy party seeing ours, and them talking about who is the biggest threat:
1 "I don't know, that paladin looks like he knows what he's about."
2 "Nah, the dark elf is plated head to toe, and that's a nasty looking axe..."
1 "Well, what about that cruel faced woman and the crusader? They seem dangerous."
3 "Fuck that, I'm scared as fuck of that goddamn kobold. All of them look incredibly badass, and yet they have a kobold with them? WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK THAT KOBOLD CAN DO TO IMPRESS THEM ENOUGH TO LET HIM STICK WITH THEM?"

Well, we could put two and two together and write a book: "The Shit that Hans and Max Did: You Won't Believe This Shit."
He's fucking with us.

Probably going Necronomist 20, yeah. It really really doesn't multiclass well, and there are basically no prestige classes you can qualify for with necronomist levels.
Take it. I'm not sure why Truenamers don't have the same kind of cool tricks as Necronomists do.

The ones I actually have are. Which are you looking at?

This is amusing.

@Hans: Well, looks like I'm taking Gem of Magic, Wand of Fireballs & Amulet of the Silver Tongue as my share of the loot.

So, looking at multiclassing for Drak, I'm seeing a few options:

A] 1 level dip into a class with all martial weapons proficiency for PrC into Word Warrior. Pros: You get to full attack and use 1 utterance in the same round. Cons: You miss out on 2 levels of truenaming. Overall: Would not recommend.
B] 1 level dip into a psionic class for Astral Namemaker. Pros: You get access to psionics. Cons: -1 truenaming level.
C] Both of the above, via Psychic Warrior and the Expanded Knowledge feat. Pros: You get to ride around on a kickass astral dragon contruct while full attacking people and truespeaking: Cons: -2 levels of truenaming. Overall: Good, if you think you can squeeze in the feats and equipment needed to make this work.

I have to say, the following would be nice:
Phrase of Speed
Phrase of Perfection
Syllable of Swiftness

There is also a BAB requirement he may or may not be able to meet.

I'll probably take that expensive necklace and pawn it off. Would it sell for 5k or 10k?

Swiftness seems useful, but again there's the issue that I don't feel like I'm contributing much. If I can rebuild by replacing Utterances, I'd probably replace Word of Dragons with it though.
As for Perfection and especially Speed, we run into the issue of not contributing much. And Perfection has the bookkeeping issue--it only helps if we remember I gave Asrean +3 to Strength or whatever.

Anyways.

You sell this pretty well.

I forgot to ask, but are the 22,662 gp we got an extra on top of our usual WBL+50%?

Also: I may need to poke my build around as well to fulfill the Int 13 prerequisite of Improved Trip. Maybe not.

How much are we allowed to rebuild our characters?

While there will be no game on saturday this week,  your scouts report that there is another horde of enemies on the horizon. What do you do?

Oh right, I meant to ask a couple questions.

Do I get the Ghost Ship back?
Is Martek going with us? (To a certain extent or whatever.)

As for Martek, here are my questions:
-What is this great evil we are facing exactly?
-How was it defeated last time, exactly.
-How did Martek get locked away in his sarcophagus/whatever happened?
-What is our best chance against the great evil?
-Does he know where to get a badass helmet for Asraen? :P

Charge the horde with reckless abandon!

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

My crusader's questions for Martek:
 - How can we defeat the evil overlord/god or something and live happily ever after?
 - Does he have some bottle full of Cloudkill so Elesse may get high?
 - Anything deadly of the same sort to get Elesse high, then?
