Turn 1: Welcome to the Jungle

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to the second annual Arena Deatmatch!" The audience sitting the circular stadium let out a deafening roar of excitement. "And, without further ado, here are the contestants!"

There is a roar again as each of the seven gates are opened. All participants step out. It's much different this time: For one, the arena seems much, much larger. The most obvious difference is the environment. Unlike the vanilla layout last time, this arena is lush. The grass and bushes grow tall and are scattered everywhere. Huge, tall trees sprout so frequently and tall that their canopies block out the sunlight in some places. There are the sounds of buzzing and chirping wildlife ominously. The soil is loamy and squishy, the air is hot and humid. It is a jungle. If you squint your eyes, you can see some of your opponents at the opposite ends of the stadium.  As each player becomes aware of their location, there is the sound of a bell tolling.

The Games have begun again.

Run away and find a good place to hide. Fire at anyone who's attacking. If the crossbow doesn't start loaded, reload.

Head straight into the thick of it, carving a path for myself and aiming for the neck at anyone I encounter.

'This again. And that damn Aarturius decides not to defend his crown, the coward.'

Oneshot (who is in no way vengeful...) goes and finds a good vantage point to shoot from.

Backstab a guy who's busy twice unless they either have a ranged weapon or they are Mundy Jr.

And yield!

Turn 2: Pouliche Mauvais

Nurrtaria is the first to take action and rushes towards Damian across the Jungle! But then she sees some butterflies and gets distracted by those instead, and runs off to chase them.
((Rolled for her 10% Inefficiency on a scale between 1 and 100, with the first 10 numbers activating that trait. She got a 3. XP))

Damian Caesar looks around for somewhere to hide. (6) He grabs onto a tree and climbs up onto it. As he shimmys up, he finally rests by sitting at one of the large branches near the top of the tree. (In a High Branch: +1 Defense) He loads his Crossbow up.

Ed Mundy Jr. walks straight through the center of the jungle, hacking away at the thick bushes and vines in front of him. As he gets further in, he comes upon Lupoid Clawfist trying to summon animals. "Arise Wolf Spirits, from the depths of the Earth, and give me-" "Bloody shaman!" (1 vs. 4) Ed swings his Machete at Lupoid's throat, but Lupoid ducks under the attack. (4 vs. 2) Lupoid counters by blunting Ed Jr. in the chest with a Staff thrust! (-3 HP) As Ed staggers back, he's filled with rage, but manages to calm himself.

Oneshot begins climbing the trees looking for a good sniping location. (2) None of the places in this area seem to offer any sort of benefit.

Lupoid Clawfist sends Ed Mundy Jr. back and completes his summoning! (3) He summons a coyote. Not a very tough creature. (Familiar: Coyote, 6 HP, Worth 4 Points)

The Spy sneaks for the jungle. There doesn't seem to be any targets that would be good to hit, except for the distracted girl chasing butterflies. Going after a child wouldn't be kosher to most killers. But the war of "The Two Fortresses" made one crazy enough to abandon such formalities. The Spy tiptoed towards the small child, spinning his twin butterfly knives out...(3) Nurrtaria notices the Spy before he can stab her in the back, but not before he thrusts his knives down at her. (6+1+1 vs. 3-1) The Spy drives one of his knives through her stomach, and it's twin through her chest. (-13 HP) He pulls out as the girl falls over in a pool of her own blood. "Pardon me, petite fille." He creeps back into the forest.

Aardvark chases Oneshot through the tress. The sniper doesn't become aware of this until he turns around to the familiar sight of a man swinging a shield at him. (6 vs. 1) Aardvark misses his shield attack, but follows it up and kicks Oneshot in the chest. This wouldn't have been so bad on Oneshot's part, had the kick not sent him flying off the branch and onto the ground several feet below. *Thunk* (-6 HP) As he recovers, the dazed gunner reaches for his gun, only to find he must have dropped it.

A loud growl booms across the stadium. The announcer declares, "Uh oh, looks like the big cats should arrive sometime soon!"

Damian tries to think of what his next plan of action should be...
Wait, find my center.. If something comes at me, feed it a bolt.

Find the gun.  Break the gun.  Then break the man.
