Just thought I should bump this in light of the news that this project will probably succeed, in the past few days it has garnered a significant amount of interest, going from 15,000 to 40,000 dollars raised in just three days.
Even if the rate slows down a lot, it will still almost certainly succeed now.

its a little confusing, 15 bucks will get you a preorder for the game but the 30 bucks tier well
Quote
A $30 donation will give you access to the first Beta testing versions (up to beta v0.1.9) of the game, plus the previous reward tier. The $30 tier of Beta is still in production, and has seen one release. (v0.1.0b)
so i would only see 9 beta releases until stable?

This game does indeed look like Dwarf Fortress and Minecraft had a baby that was adopted by Age of Empires.

These kind of visuals always did hold a special place in my heart.

You should really look to the wilderness for your stealth ideas, it has been doing it much longer than you have after all. Take squids for example, that ink trick works pretty well, and in water too! So you just sneak into the dam upsteam, dump several megatons of distressed squid into it, then break the dam. Boom, you suddenly have enough water-proof stealth for a whole city!
