Get water. Release slaves. Ask bird for food while doing the first two.
This, and make sure we become the leader of the inevitable mob. If have time, make a speech.

Release the other slaves, passing the key off. That should create enough of a diversion to let you make your way to the closest water barrel. After we get some water let's thank the bird and return to see if the crew has gotten free and what has become of them.

No speech. Tell the crew we will now make our way to the quartermasters locker and try to arm ourselves. Ten minutes is not enough time for a speech.

Okay, then just make sure we're the leader. This is important for our future army!

I agree...kinda silly to say this, since my post inspired this idea...

You briefly consider making a speech, but decide that you really don't have time for that sort of thing. Instead you pass the key down the lines and get yourself some water. In between slurps out of the rain barrel, you ask the bird if it has any food. It says, "No. Once you have taken the ship, meet me in the crow's nest." It then chuckles at you before flying off. This is a hallucination, right?

Your fellow slaves have begun to crowd around you at the water barrel. Some want to know how you got the keys. Others want to know what to do next. Mostly, though, they all just want water.

"Drink quickly! You are not free yet. We will take this ship and we will never have to worry about shackles again. Come! To the quartermasters locker! We will slice down our masters soon enough"

Make your way out of the room towards the storage locker.

Free them, let them have some water, lead a tactically viable mob in an uprising once we're noticed.

You're all agreed to attack the weapons locker first?

You make a quick, but rousing speech to the captive crew of the vessel, promising to "slice down" the slavers that have taken you all captive. They seem more interested in quenching their thirst than fighting, but the dozen who have had their turn at the barrel agree to follow you upstairs.

You are now the raven again.

It goes well, at first. The slaves successfully grab the cruelly corpulent drummer, a morbidly obese man who had made a habit of loudly eating his dinner in front of the slaves, and quickly toss him overboard to his death. But then the other pirates quickly notice the commotion and draw their weapons. Many of the captives are cut down by their captors and your apprentice quickly find himself in a fight against the captain of the ship. In one hand he holds a whip and in the other a wickedly sharp dagger. By the look in Kabul's eye, you're certain that both had been used on him as punishment by his masters.

Kabul ducks under the lash and goes to tackle the captain's feet, but the dagger plunges into his side and he is forced away. The wound is not fatal, but another like it may well be! Your apprentice is unarmed and unlikely to survive without a weapon. One of the other slaves has finally managed to crack open the weapons locker with an axe. But what to give him?
