Shift all power to lasers! Let's attempt to slice the thing in half. If the lasers are pulse based however then we should aim for the targeting cameras, that way we can move in and cut the thing apart or power it down and possibly use it later.

I win. Told you we should have powered up lasers in the first place!

...That's one way to disable the drone...

Doesn't matter. Maybe it'll think that our ship was only dumped recently and still shows signs of life from time to time. Or maybe it got activated by the drone's presence.

Lasers are pulse based.

Also, I strongly suggest to change the wording to Maximum power instead of all power. Don't want to melt things down do we.

Well let's kill the drone and make plans to leave. We don't need to jump out in a full piece seeing as we can get the bird repaired at a station. Besides if we right down our coordinates we can head back here when we like and finish the job with better equipment and in one piece (without it being swiss cheese).

My mistake. Maximum power (that's all three reactors I believe.)

After we disable the drone we should split our team, one going to the cargo ship to get fuel the other to shunt or bring the drone inside our hold so we can work on it later. We should try and work as quick as possible here seeing as this place is getting pretty dangerous and we are in no position to be fighting battles.

Even then, the maximum safe capacity of the lasers is 2 power. Considering the fact that the lifesupport also handles heat management, shutting it down and then overcharging weaponry by 50% might not be a smart idea.

Oh I see. So yeah, send one pulse at the targeting cameras, and keep one ready to fire at the weapons if it still continues it's firing process.

(We aren't mobile, it still may shoot even if we do knock out targeting.)

The programmer would be an idiot not to program it to check us put anyways.

Keep heat management online. It might get pretty cold pretty quick even in our space suits.

We don't care whether it checks us. Our ship is still mostly broken, remember? Besides, assuming a certain person decided to implement realistic ship sizes, noticing humans inside would be pretty hard.
