Quote from: Warriors to Wavemotion, the rise of the Allorans
The Alloran had always believed their destiny lay amongst the stars, but they also believe there would be those who would keep it from them. It was no surprise then, that they moved quickly along this road. Records are not clear when the first of the great observatories were built, but it was no doubt very early in their path space travel. It was also at this time, that the first of the great minds of the Alloran posed the following question: "If they were to find those who would oppose them, What must they do?"

Construction
Observatory (2IC)
Farm (1IC)
1IC remaining

Research
Better starship engines

Attempt to persuade

Race name: Kalams

Race Description: Kalams are insectoids, but not one of the myriads hive  races that were destroyed before, no, they are singe individuals, large tough and regenerating 8-legged predatory beasts that  live 150 hundreds of years with constantly developing brain that lead to very intelligent researchers
Their larvae stage  takes roughly 1\3 of their lives: 40-60 years. At larvae stage they are absolutely unintelligent and savage beasts and consume as much food as any grown up Kalam while being not only useless but dangerous for careless adults that can become pray. Any Kalam society is forced to spend part of food and living space for useless and dangerous younger generations

Planet name: Kalamad

Local System description:
Tirunog: Stable sun-like star
Tirunog I: Very hot rock, slightly smaller than mercury
Tirunog II: Oceanic world with highly acidic oceans and even more acidic atmosphere.
Tirunog III: Gas giant that has roughly 80% size of Jupiter. Has several small rocky moons and one big moon Kalamad
Kalamad: Once was a slightly dry earthlike planet with booming life even before it was captured by Tirung III's gravity. Nowadays it's a strange world with huge tidal waves from it's small ocean, "moon" that provide huge amounts of light and weird day\night cycles  but life has adapted and even benefited from this new conditions
Tirung IV:  Mars-sized frozen rock

2 mines no Ic left,

Research:

Nanotech fabricators IC boost,

Next up on the list are annihalation plants, to produce energy by destroying mass directly and turning it into energy.

A few questions:
  • What is the link between fuel and energy?
  • How much IC and workforce does the small spaceport use up?
  • Do we start off with jumpdrives, or are the basic engines just system drives?

Construction:
1 Farm (-1 IC)
1 Mine (-2 IC)
1 IC left
Research:
Investigate both pollution reduction technologies and improved food production.

1. Energy is your fuel production per turn.
2. 5 IC, 2 size and 2 workforce
3. System drives. Jump drives are a seperate tech, though you might find a jumpgate/ given the tech by a random event.

Yup. I'll add that to the main post soon. I'm not going to gen the system right now, as it involves quite a lot of work and doesn't matter till you have build your first scout craft/ observatory. (Which can be as early as the first turn.)
