(( Hot damn, that fight went amazingly all things considered.  I think one lesson we can take away from this, is that fire is our friend  :D))

Find a knife fighting class. Preferably the same one as my comrade.

Since this hasn't updated in 28 years, guess it's time. Turn incoming.

Chapter 49: Back to Business

The group bids farewell to Blade and Big Dog as they drive off.

"Keep care of yourselves, and if you rat us out we will give be seeing each other again."
Tell them the above, then think of something useful to do.

Mason goes find something useful to do. Well, that's 1 gang down, 3 to go. Maybe he should find intelligence on the others. Or he could work on getting more territory under Syndicate control.

Take out my laptop and put the Jewelry and PSP up on CraigsList. Then proceed to set up a con game in the corner of the pub with my deck of cards.

Aaron puts out a CraigsList ad for the Jewlery and PSP. He sets up a card game on a booth at the corner, calling over some guys to play with him. (Persuasion:3) He cons them sure enough, but through a loop in the rules they end up earning their lost money. Damn.

"Yer leaving already?  Eh suit yourselves, feel free to drop in if you ever feel like teaming up again."
Crack open a beer, sit back with whoever will join me, and flip on the TV.  Let's see what the morning news has to say about last night.
Join the beer and TV watching, again looking to steer the discussion on to matters regarding setting up a nice lil meth lab somewhere for fun and profit.

Trent and Ryan sit down with a couple beers as they watch the news about last night.

The screen displays the ruins of the Black Lagoon, a smoking husk of what it once was. Men in biosuits carry bodybags out, and the area is sealed off by police and yellow tape.

"...So, Officer Manning, what can you tell us about this incident?"

"I can fortunately tell everyone that the events that took place last night ended the notorious Hell Rider gang, though it is still under discussion of the perpetrator. Whatever happened, it seemed an explosion was triggered that destroyed the bar."

"And what is the symbol that was left on the bar sign?"

"Bar sign? Well that's not Hell Rider....I've never seen....um...ah..."

The camera zooms in very clearly on the Syndicate's tag.

Go find a knife fighting class,
Find a knife fighting class. Preferably the same one as my comrade.

William and Dave head out to find a fighting class. They find one in an old gym downtown.

Basic (Level 1): $25

Novice (Level 2): $30

Advanced (Level 3): $50

Pro (Level 4): $70

"Guys if I don't return in a few hours, check the hospitals."
Super scouting time, look for main gang hideouts, if found look for back entrances and memorise the address.

((Eh we're making progress at least.  We thrashed one gang and pissed off a couple others but we're still pretty small in terms of numbers, territory, and firepower))

The camera zooms in very clearly on the Syndicate's tag.

"Hahaha!"

Turning to address Berk
"Well seeing as things have been going pretty damn well for us recently, I suppose now would be as good a time as ever to deal with some internal affairs.  Right now I'm thinking people like you, Fyfe, and a few others are deserving of a promotion.  However, people who get a promotion are going to have to be responsible for some of our operations"
Discuss with Berk and the rest of the gang about possibly promoting some of the footsoldiers and giving them certain jobs and responsibilities like recruiting more men, teaching our newest members how to fight, watching over the mattress shop, protecting the Pub etc.
