Chapter 29: Tamed

"No, but seriously. You can't leave. First of all, we wouldn't let you escape, and even if you did, we'd hunt you down. Second, you're as deep in this as any of us."

Paul seems to ignore William's statement. (5 vs. 4) He punches William pretty hard in the shoulder. William falls to his knee but swings with his good arm. (1 vs. 3) Paul kicks William's arm away. (2 vs. 1) Paul then kicks William again in the arm, but just barely skims it and he loses balance. William jumps up, (2 vs. 4) in time for Paul to grab him (5 vs. 1) and throw him into a wall, head first. William clutches his head and stands up as his eyes water. (Dazed: 50% chance of -1 to all rolls) William swings at Paul, (6-1 vs. 3) and actually manages to clock him in the chest. Paul grunts and swings back, (5 vs. 6) but William grabs his arm, (1-1 vs. 1) and trips, causing both of them to fall down. William, dazed, lunges and grabs a bottle off the ground. (4-1 vs. 5) Paul kicks it out of his hands, (1 vs. 6-1) and rolls off to the side. William stands up as Paul gets to his knees, (4-1 vs. 4) and misses a strike to the back of his head. Paul swings his hand backwards, (1 vs. 3) but William dodges this (3-1 vs. 5) and kicks over a chair. Paul charges William (6 vs. 1) and tackles him to the ground. William flies to the floor and takes the full impact on his back. He seizes for a moment before dozing off. (Unconscious: 1 turn)

Before leaving, grab any games in the area. THEN, find another empty flat!

Aaron grabs some games. (+4 PSP Games) He then exits the flat sneakily and heads deeper into the district to find more. (4) He finds one that seems empty further in, but this one is locked. Nothing an old lockpick won't fix. (5) Boom, open. (-1 Lockpick)

Mason, yawning, proceeds to
Have some tea down stairs.

Mason awakes, stretches, and walks upstairs to get some tea. He fetches a cup off of the bar and witnesses William fighting Paul. He takes a sip and walks back down.

Enter Pub. If needed, help restrain Paul.

Dave enters to see Paul knocking out William. Just before Paul can finish Will off, Dave charges him with his knife. (6 vs. 5) Paul raises his fist, but Dave puts his Combat Knife to the bodyguard's throat. He drops his hands. "Shit..."

"Will, just shut the hell up. Paul, listen man, you knew exactly what you signed up for. You knew that we'd eventually tangle with the cops, and you knew that there was always a chance that we would lose a friend in this. I know you're a smart guy Paul. Why'd you think you could just leave the Syndicate? We will protect our own. You're safer under our wing then out there for the police to find you." Talk to Paul, take 200 pounds and give it to the barkeeper so he can repair the pub.

(6) Jason speaks to Paul. Paul stays silent, and just sits down. Jason, satisfied, gives the bartender 200 pounds. "Bless ya'." (-$200 from gang funds)

"Wait.  You're telling me Wang's already dead?!  (Sigh)  I don't believe this.  Poor bastard... well I guess I should be giving you lot a hand then."
Introduce myself to the rest of the gang and explain that I'm here to take over Wang's job to everyone around.  Get filled in on what's already happened and anything important that the gang is currently working on
Turning to Paul, "The fuck's wrong with him?"

"Hey guys, I'm Trent." The rest of the gang says hi, focused on whatever else they're doing. Judging by the situation, it seems Paul is a gang member that's trying to desert.

A soldier walks up to Trent and tells him what's been going on so far. (Trent now knows everything that's happened in the past of the Syndicate.)

Get back to scouting other gang locations.

Alex runs outside to do more scouting. (2) A bit away, he spots a group of Vice Lord boys smoking and chatting up a corner. He approaches them, and hears them saying something about the Cobardi. However, one of them spot's him. "The fuck you doing white boy?"

Call everyone together for a meeting!

"Hey, guys, lets stay here for a bit, I think we need to make plans."

Jackson announces a group plan just as Alex runs outside and Mason goes downstairs. Synergy.

Dave made sure Paul stood still as he started to talk. "Listen, man. We're in this together. And that means that unless we split on good terms, we aren't splitting. This means you can't leave. Now listen to me. You knew what you were getting in to, so that means you knew that this might happen. So I want you to calm down, get something to drink, take a seat, and not leave. If you have something to say, you can say it at the meeting. Speaking of which, I need to go get the others rounded up. Are we good?"

Talk him down. If he calms down and agrees to my suggestion, Let him go.

"There you go. See? We have no interest in another dead man. As Will said, in better circumstances, we'd let you go, but these are kinda shitty circumstances. So yes, while you do have a valid reason to hate Will, you are going to have to ignore it. Your mate, Sean has decided to stay with us as well, so we can't be all bad."

(Turn to Mason)  Well apparently your man Paul here lost his nerve for a bit and tried to quit the gang, that was until he got some sense talked and beaten into him.  I'm thinking the gang's about to hold a meeting too it seems.  Name's Trent.

Chapter 30: News Flash

My meeting sense... It's tingling..
Wait... What was that upstairs?

"Woah woah woah, calm the fuck down everyone, I just beat the fuck out of a large amount of people, and when I wake up, someone's un-concious, and someone's got a knife to their throat, WHAT THE FUCK HAAPEND?!?"

Mason goes upstairs and gets confused. Well, guess this means he's going to the meeting.

Wake up.
Son of a bitch...

William, still dazed from impact, unsteadily wakes up from his stupor.

(Speech:5) Dave heads to the bar and silently takes up a drink.

"Aw fuck it"

Leave, search for non robbed electronic store, buy cellphone.

Jackson abandons the meeting to search for an electronics store. Inside town, he finds an Apple store.

Fuck off, go scout somewhere else.

Alex turns back around and goes down another street. (2) There's some regular ordinary people walking around here. Yup.

Talk. Attend Meeting

Jason continues talking to Paul, who is silent at this point. He attends the meeting, which is sort of hard with the meeting leader having run off outside.

LOOT! Quietly, though.

Aaron ruffles through the flat quietly swooping some jewelry, a laptop, and some money. (+4 Jewelry Pieces, Laptop, $150)

(Turn to Mason)  Well apparently your man Paul here lost his nerve for a bit and tried to quit the gang, that was until he got some sense talked and beaten into him.  I'm thinking the gang's about to hold a meeting too it seems.  Name's Trent.
Attend gang meeting
((Hey TCM, would it be cool if those two switchblades of mine were always concealed up my sleeves?))

Trent goes to the dysfunctioned gang meeting.

((Hmmm, I how would you get them to stay up there?))

The barkeep is watching T.V. when he calls the gang over. "Hey, you might want to se' this."

The channel of note is that of a local news station.

"....in eastern Licheville where the bodies of three policemen, and one unknown Asian man, were found to be burned and crucified in an outlying field. So far there have been no leads on this case but the specialist police force SCO19 are at work to solve the mystery."

"Wait, what the frack? We didn't crucify them, we just executed them. Crucifying them would make it look like the Hawkson boys committed the crime. In any case, we need to have a meeting of the kings to discuss our future plans."
Start new meeting.
