Everybody, check my most recent post in the Princess Celestia RTD. It's relevant to this thread also.

Chapter 1: Finally!
IT LIVES!

And so, by popular vote, The Pub becomes the base of the Syndicate.

Go out scouting the other gangs turf.

Alex Sterling goes off to snoop around the territory belonging to the other gangs. Being armed with a nice pair of shades, what could possibly go wrong? (3) To be honest, nothing really, though there wasn't anything super positive brought about either. Four blocks to the west, Alex does manage to see what long like a group of Cobardi manning a street corner. Perhaps they have an establishment or business nearby? (Activity Skill: Scouting)

Walk over to the barkeeper whether anybody agrees to come along or not.
"If there's any single or small groups of criminals , thugs , dealers and other general scum in the area that are not affiliated with the major gangs can you tell me where to find them?
And can you put the word out quietly that any unpleasant people who are looking for a more organized group to throw there lot in with can come see me and ill see what i can do for them. For each person you send who proves hes worth to us ill give you a percentage of my share depending on he's skill set once were up and running.
"
Wait for hes answer then go out and begin scouting those he has indicated and keep an eye out for any small shops and businesses that look like they have pore security.

"Well, if you're looking for that kind of folk, I guess going down to 14th Street wouldn't be a bad idea. Place is in pretty shit place, so they've got all sorts of poor buggers running around. Should be easy enough to find who you're looking for. And I'll keep a heads up if I see any brutes coming in here." With that, Lucas heads out of the pub and onto the street looking for vulnerable stores. The least secure stores look to be semi-derelict snack stores and gas stations a few blocks into the city. There are liquor stores also, but those seem to have rudimentary anti-theft devices. There is even a bank-like establishment, but of course it has a security system, and possibly an armed owner.

Pub. Explore the choice of headquarters carefully.

William Gerais is the first to go into the secret basement of the pub, poking around to see what he can find. It's a large room with several tables and broken down wine-racks. A couple of old ceiling fans weakly rotate above him. There's not much else down here....but hey, what's this? William pulls apart a loose looking floor tile and finds an underground cavern! Ah yes, the smugglers must have used these secret tunnels as a way for moving in and out in secrecy, as well as for avoiding the heat. Perhaps they work as well as they once used to?

PUB, MATE.

Go outside to the nearest dark alley and wait for someone to walk through, robbing them.

Aaron Bradley walks outside to the dark alley beind the pub, waiting for the first soul to walk by. After a good few minutes, Aaron hears a footsteps coming towards him. Looking up at the source, he spots a fairly heavy, middle-aged business man who looks like a none-too-tough chum. Aaron proceeds to ignore him, and as the man walks by, Aaron leaps forward and grabs him by the shirt collar. Cocking the other hand up Aaron threatens, "Give me your money or I'll break all ya' fucking teeth!" The terrified man reaches into his pocket and throws a few bills at Aaron's face. Aaron drops the man, whom promptly dashes out of the alley, and the boxer picks up the money. Not too hard, huh? (Earned: 67$. Activity Skill: Intimidation)

Pub, hack onto private emails of police officers who routinely patrol this area of town, and find dirt on them. If there's any more time, find dirt on the highest ranking members of the police department(police chief, detective)

Jason Giffard flips open his modified cellular phone and goes to work. He boots up a hacking program, locates the server of the police station, and sees if he can get past the defenses. (Hacking: 4+1) The firewalls and anti-virus programs are no match for the calibur of Jason's device. He gets right through and digs up on 'Hail Benard', the city's Police Chief.....hmm, looks like there's no dirt on him. However, Jason manages to find all sorts of nice acsess points: His education, license plate, credit card purchases, health record, and all sorts of other nice findings.

Pub. Look around for nearby auto shops, too. And if I see any sober, down on heir ouck people, remember where they are..

Dave Green ducks out of the pub to look for some auto shops. Going into the inner-city, there seem to be a couple around and he notes their locations. Also, a few of the gas/petrol stations seem to double as additional mini-auto centers. As for the poor fellows, Dave sees a number of outta'-luck men going into a porno shop. While they might not be the most gentlemannly, they are both sober and look to be lost in life. Dave takes down the shop's address for future reference.

The PUB I Say!, also go busking by the hospital.
"hopefully they'll be feeling sympathetic."

Mason Johnstone heads over to a local hospital to perform a street show. Putting on his best sickly apperance, he tries to think of an act. After setting up a quickly-made bin for cash to be thrown in, Mason clears his throat and puts on his best singing performance he can do. (Charisma: 1+2) He's a bit squeaky, but a few sympathetic souls do throw some cash in. After several songs, Mason checks on his progress. It's barely anything, but at least it's profit. (Earned: 6.12$.)

Fredrick Ashley leaves behind a note, addressing that he has some "personal business" to take care of before he puts himself in the gang position. As he leaves the pub, he passes a man rushing into the bar...

A strange mix of irish and british stumbles into the pub, plops down on the table. He is wearing a old top hat and has a great black trench coat on. A cut on his cheek is bleeding lightly.

"Sorry I'm late, had a little run in with some..... friends. Anyways, I say we start up here. Plenty of booze and not suspicious, am I right? Also, can someone get me something to patch this up?" indicating the cut on his cheek.

The pub patrons look at the new arrival, all of them confused. The bartender yells, "Give the man some room you lot, back to your business!" The chatter slowly starts up as the barman pulls Jackson behind the bar. He wets a rag and wipes up the cut on the Demolitionman's cheek. "Listen, your friends just started the whole business up, so you might as well start as they've heard you might be coming."

Head towards 14th street telling anybody i come across on the way that looks like they dont have a problem hurting people or who may have some other useful skills to be outside the pub in 3 hours time and tell them to bring along anybody else they know who might be interested.

Oy! Cash, eh? Seems good enough...

Wander the alleyways a bit. Look for some furniture that could, well, furnish our base!

Dave goes walking around the local/semi-local area, looking for poorly-protected parking garages and the like. Car theft may not be the most preferable choice, but it should work.
