I was a little girl (I'm usually a guy, IRL and in dreams) in a very well-off family. I was angry at my father because I had (wrongly) felt that I was being mistreated because he wouldn't buy me the latest fashion, or maybe it was a doll-house the details are foggy. So I told him I'd rather live with "Mr. R", who I'd heard was always kind to the girls who lived with him, and they got everything they ever wanted, ESPECIALLY the sort of thing that I wanted RIGHT NOW.
So the dream time-skips a little, to where my father is sending me to the door of Mr. R's mansion, and telling me to be quiet because he's sleeping right now. I reach the door and a butler greets me and tells me to be quiet too, he brings me to a side-room where there's this beautiful pajama outfit and tells me to put it on he'd have my dress laundered. Once I've changed (he didn't peek) I ask him when I'll be able to see Mr. R. He just looks sad and tells me to follow him. He brings me to a room with a window facing into the house, which I look through. There's another room, and on the other side is another window, beyond which is a third room. In this room is a 50+ year old fat man strapped to a motorized wheel-chair shouting obscenities (especially about his wife), asking where did the little girls go, and asking if his wife is going to come visit him. Also complaining about being hungry, craving "twat", and being confined.
Now I'm scared, like I should have been when asked to change, but I'm a naive little girl in this dream. About 14 years old, maybe 12. The butler tells me THAT is Mr. R, and that my father arranged to get me out of here instead of being trapped here, because most girls don't get out. He tells me to go to the main hall, and climb out the window there, but don't let either of the maids see me or I'll be trapped, and that my father is waiting just past the property gates for me. So I go out to the hall, and am climbing out the window, when I see... my even younger brother (in this dream, not my real brother) in the hall, calling loudly for me, looking very upset. He hasn't seen me, but he also hasn't seen what I see: one of the maids walking into the hallway behind him. I duck out of the window, and start crying when I hear the maid SCREECH, because I know she caught my brother. I run to my father's truck, and he consoles me, and gives some orders to OUR butler, who was waiting on a borrowed tractor nearby.
At this point my perspective shifts to that of our butler, who speaks with an English accent. So I, as the butler, approach the mansion, and knock on the door with the brass knocker - which is shaped like a lion, don't know if that matters. The same maid that I saw as the girl opens the door, only since I'm the butler I don't recognize her.
"Excuse me, I seem to have lost my young charge while we were traveling through this neighborhood, and I was wondering if anyone in your household may have seen a little boy, about this tall, who likes to get into trouble. He may have been digging in your garden or climbing in and out of some windows, but if you haven't I'm going to be around your neighborhood until I find him, here is my number if you do see him."
"YES I DID. And what a trouble maker, I found him upsetting poor Mr. R and making a loud ruckus. You're lucky we didn't have any guests today, because he's a very bad boy. Take him!"
So she grabs a cardboard box about the size of a refrigerator, but completely sealed up with inch-long steel staples, and throws it at me. I catch it with my face, and am knocked to the ground. I can here the young master crying inside, so I thank her for her time as if nothing were wrong, she slams the door, and I carry the box to the truck where the young master's sister and father are waiting. I open the box - carefully, and see that he's rather bruised, and he's bleeding where one of his ears has been cut off, but he's otherwise alright. Oh, yeah, and his pants are torn to shreds, and he's bawling like crazy. We then see a group of girls heading down the street towards the mansion, unfortunate girls in pretty dresses who HAVEN'T had good fathers who arranged with the butler to have them only take a peek and then leave. So I, the butler, slyly fire a crossbow at a hornets' nest and scare the girls away from the mansion.
So in the dream, I was vaguely aware once I saw Mr. R as the girl and the whole time as the butler that Mr. R was a cannibal, and also while I have not read the book or seen the movie "50 shades of grey" the actual name of "Mr. R" that was actually said during the dream was "Mr. Grey". And I knew for some reason after the same point that his wife was in a coma in a back room of the mansion, and about as old as him. She'd been there for almost 40 years (which would mean she was about the age of the little girl who I was in the dream when they married).
