You cannot get ye card

Apparently, it was a load-bearing card.

>Andrew: Place some of the buildings down in a convenient location for Achim

You place down all the necessary game structures in a totally convenient location. By that you mean his living room because his bedroom is just too dark to see into.

By the way, I've started work on a new format of character sheet more closely mirroring the main FATE ones. It's still pretty condensed. You can view it here, but not edit it:

I played exactly one actual pen&paper rpg and it was a FATE derivate. Fun times.
I am very sorry for my late arrival, but here it comes:

Ad-Hoc Character Sheet:

Name: ACHIM ENGELER

Average: Robustness, Growling, Search
Fair: Incinerate, Chemistry

Aspekt: Flames Deep Beneath
Aspekt: Yeah, I will do it tomorrow

Sirius frowned. Surely it was an optical illusion.

Just in case, he took a picture and compared it to similar ones he took monthly at work.

Jonathan is overreacting... it's not like you demolished his actual room... or did you? Heh, this would be pretty crazy.
...about as crazy as the noises coming from the living room, actually.

>ACHIM: Deploy Jonathan's Totemizer and Cruxtruder!

While deploying Jonathan's Totemizer and Cruxtruder, you notice there's a few other items to deploy, including a pre-punched card. You also notice that this, apparently, would cost the remaining amount of Jonathan's measly initial 20 Grist. Whatever that is.

>Penny: Return to your room and turn the crank on the thing.

You return to your room and do the deed. A top-heavy cylinder colored the same as Zellsprite pops out of the Cruxtruder.

While it is fairly obvious tonight is the night for Mars to be larger in general, about 10 minutes' worth of research reveals to you that Mars isn't even in the same place in the sky as the Mars-colored object you saw. Uh oh.

(That's the problem with edits and my ungodly view speed. My action was not there when I checked and subsequently got pestered. Hrm.)

'Fuck! Fuck fuck this is probably really bad.' he muttered to himself. "From the size it's either really close or very big.'

Quickly opening a variety of programs, Sirius points his array back up to the object and attempts to calculate its trajectory and speed.

Quickly opening a variety of programs, Sirius points his array back up to the object and attempts to calculate its trajectory and speed.

((Gm note: I had a few of these down as mediocre, but they were suppose to be average? Either way, my fault.))

(Stargazing [Average] +2 vs. ? ? ?) Using complex mathemagicks (read: Physics), you calculate the object's speed to be "deadly" and its trajectory to be "you." There is definitely no scenario where this does not end badly.

Except, of course, for one involving weird teleporty stuff. And what's the only connection you have to weird teleporty stuff right now? Right. Better get a move on.

Sirius's screen changes, and Jack appears on his SUBURB viewport. Man, is that what kids are doing nowadays? Dying their hair green? ((OP updated with connection info.))

>Penny: Retrieve the cylinder. Take it and the card to the bathroom!

You take the cylinder to the now-destroyed restroom. What a mess! After a few minutes, the lathe carves the totem from "slightly top heavy" to "oddly distinctive."

BOOOOOM!

You hear a gunshot and then an explosion from the main living room.

You briefly consider investigating the gunshot and explosion, but eventually decide that guns and explosions are dangerous, and that dude with the bird puns said doing this game stuff is super important. Hopefully you're making the right choice.

>Penny: Abandon your parents to their fate, and get the totem to the roof!

You barely even look downstairs to see what's happened, instead opting to head back toward the roof. Placing the Dowel in the Alchemiter, a flash light appears froms its circular base. The light dissipates, and left behind is...

...a large, pyramid-shaped, red-orange stone. Huh. It seems to be around three times your size.

Did Andrew already install the client disc? If not,

>Andrew: Install Suburb client on laptop

I already had noted that everyone's servers and clients were installed when we started back. Sorry.
