Nepthym turned to the man and leaned up against the wall, crossing her arms in agitation.

"Oh, you got me. I was lying...really, my parents doted on me every minute of every day, they were really there for me, it was a loving home.

I was just born evil, the Priest said. Straight from the Demon seed itself."

She spun the dagger between her fingers dexterously.

"Wait, that's a lie too. I'm actually a Vampire, I've lived 1000 years in this young body, and all I know is killing to survive." Nepthym claimed, grinning ear to ear. Her tone didn't change. If she wasn't trying to be sarcastic, it was clear she could spin a lie without showing any trace of it in her body language. She honestly felt no guilt whatsoever.

"Or maybe you were forged amidst blood and fire instead of raised like a normal child." he shrugged. "What do you fight for, for example? Survival, I'd have to guess."

He tapped his pouches and stared at her as he started to walk towards the bridge.

"I have some bread and some water. If you feel hungry, just steal from my bags. I think you're not the kind to ask for anything."

"Could you guys also make a hamburger out of this arm when they cut it off? I wanted to eat it just for the sake of tasting it."
>That is horrible and disgusting. It will no doubt set you apart and create fear in your team mates. So of course.

"Quite the opposite, actually. But you'll never know.

And, I fight for the sake of mission. Survival is the mission right now."
She says, looking around-as if hungry for another battle. Or maybe just some bread.

"Are you used to completing missions with a team? My mentor always told me being a loner never got him anywhere."

Mordekhai took both a loaf of bread wrapped in a white cloth and a waterskin and tossed them to the blood-covered assassin.

"Here, eat while we walk. We may find more of them and walking around with a empty stomach won't help you."

Nepthym chowed and glugged without complaint.

"My teams all gone now. I've got to complete this mission by myself." She said, a small hint of emotion seeping through-but not much.

I'd continue RP but me and Cael have done all we can do without going into each others backstories. Anyone who wants to step up is welcome :P))

Zealots and Demons, Turn 13: Wall Bashing and Interrogation

Quote from: Dwarmin
Move on if everyone is ready. Stand guard for further attacks otherwise.
It seemed that Shruick wanted to interrogate the guard, and Tikan and Aegnor were both occupied with the woman's wounds, so Nepthym moved to the nearest doorway to keep an eye on things. [4] The sounds of fighting were distant, but sounded like they might be ending soon. They at least had a few moments to themselves.

Quote from: CrimsonEon
Interrogate the Guard
"Just what are the pirates planning, and who's calling the shots?" Shruick asked, keeping the slumped guard firmly against the wall with his forearm. [3] The guard was passing out from bloodloss and pain and didn't seem too inclined to answer. "I don't know what they're planning. We just get our cut from Jamison and we don't ask any questions." [4] Shruick thought he was telling the truth, if leaving a few details out.

Quote from: lawastooshort
Find something to bandage and heal self with.
Tikan looked about for something to heal herself with. [2] The only material she could find was the bloodsoaked clothes of the dead guards, and they would be no help whatsoever. Luckily Aegnor was on the job as well, and she wouldn't have to worry about it.

Quote from: Caellath
Move on.
[1] Mordekhai attempted to move on and walked into a wall, banging into quite painfully... albeit without any lasting harm done. He reflected that he should have concentrated on where he was going rather than mess about with the noble woman.

Quote from: Ochita
Heals the injured woman.
(You didn't say how, so I'm going to assume with magic.) Aegnor moved to Tikan's side and held his palms toward her, his hands glowing with a gentle light. (4 mana expended; 3 HP healed) Tikan's wounds began to heal under his ministrations. Not much, but enough that they were not freely bleeding and she could move mostly without pain.

Shruick grunts, not much information, but then again what can you expect from bribed guards? "Hear that? Our mark's probably this 'Jamison' character." Shruick announces to the rest of the group.

Letting go of the guard, Shruick pauses. Now the full breadth of the situation came to Shruick's senses. Pirates were overtaking the entire ship, and chances were any guards they encountered would be paid off, he didn't like the odds of getting to the bridge. Shruick shook his head, But if we keep it stealthy and ambush each group on the way to the bridge, we should be able to handle this., he thought, reassuring himself.

The guard was low enough to be bribed, yet still able to tell the truth. Shruick wasn't quite at ease with going back on his word. Shruick turns to Aegnor, "You know how to use that thing, right?" he asks, referring to the staff in his hands, "I need you to patch up this guard. Not fully, just enough to stop the bleeding."

Regardless if Aegnor heals him or not, Knock the guard out. Move on afterwards.

Nepthym prodded Mordek from the side with the hilt of her dagger.

"You almost look bored. Let's go find some excitement, hmm?"

Action: Move on, creeping forward
