She saw the blood, so Tikan knew there should be pain, but in the slowed down time of the fight she couldn’t feel it yet. Her eyes flitted about the room: the woman with the knife pinned to the floor, the running guard. That woman could handle herself, she hoped – the fleeing guard was more dangerous to the group right now. Ignoring the cuts and bleeding, she joined Shruick in chasing him down.

Chase down and stop the fleeing guard. If he’s gone already, Thrust the Nepthym-wrestling guard in the back of the neck.

((@GM: Nep's health did not go down in the status.))

The bloodied flail rested against the corpse's face for a moment before Mordekhai pulled it, swinging the chain and wrapping part of it around his hand.

Killing wasn't a game, and these men were probably only doing their jobs; yet, the crusader had killed one of them, and could probably kill more until it was over. Even then, he was not disturbed. Unfortunately, they started the attack first, and hurt his companions. There was little in the way of non-lethal response available in that case.

Kill or be killed. Kill or allow others to be killed. It was not the first time he had found the predicament, and he had already grown used to it.

The crusader then examined the scene. The combat was mostly done with, and while the woman called Tikan was bleeding from a number of cuts, she still seemed out of risk. The odd soldier-woman, on the other side, was being pummeled down by one of the remaining opponents.

Mordekhai sighed.

Approach the struggle between the guard and Nep, put a greave against the soldier's side then push him away from the woman. If successful, follow up with a kick to get him unconscious.

Then Heal Tikan.

Zealots and Demons, Turn 12:  Blood-Stained Celestial

Enemies
Guard 2:  [6]  The guard continues trying to punch Nepthym's face, Nepthym manages to dodge all the powerful punches though.  "I'LL KILL YOU!" he screams rage evident in his eyes.
Health, 0/12, dead
Status:  Tackling Nepthym, Can only attack Nepthym

Guard 3:  [3]  The guard starts to run away but his stomach wound catches up with him and he slumps over against a wall, unable to really run any further.
Health, 2/12
Status:  Subdued

Quote from: CrimsonEon
catch and (non-lethally) subdue the fleeing guard.

[6]  You chase after the guard and [3 damage] body check him into the wall.  You're pretty sure he can't run anymore.

Quote from: Ochita
Whack any guard that I can reach

[4] [4 damage]  You whack the guard trying to punch Nepthym in the head, he doesn't really seem to care though, to obsessed with trying to kill Nepthym.

Quote from: Dwarmin
Action: Try to evade his punches and slip my knife into a vulnerable spot

[4] [5+1=6 damage]  You slide your knife cleanly between the guards ribs and into his hard.  Pulling it out, he throws one final punch before falling over on top of you.  His blood soaking your face and pooling all around you.

Quote from: lawastooshort
Chase down and stop the fleeing guard. If he’s gone already, Thrust the Nepthym-wrestling guard in the back of the neck.

[4]  You chase down the fleeing guard with the Draconian.  He's still alive but badly injured.  You don't really have anything to tie him up with... shit.  [1 vs. 1]  Instead of trying to restrain him physically, you just sort of stand there awkwardly staring at him as he stares back at you, equally awkwardly.

Quote from: Caellath
Approach the struggle between the guard and Nep, put a greave against the soldier's side then push him away from the woman. If successful, follow up with a kick to get him unconscious.

Then Heal Tikan.

[3] You push the corpse of the guard off Nepthym and help her to her feet.  Covered in blood like she is, she looks pretty intimidating.  [3] [4/2=2 healed]  You heal one of Tikan's cuts partially after muttering a short prayer.  It's not much, but it's better than before.

Taste

Nepthym licked her lips and got a taste of blood. Salty. She was familiar enough with the sensation. The blood dripping over her bronzed skin cast a strange hue, cold and terrible.

The girl grimaced, and paused to flick the blood from her brow and hands so it wouldn't drip into her eyes, or fumble her grip.

"Everyone take a breather, look to your wounds. Then, let's keep going." She says.

Action: Move on if everyone is ready. Stand guard for further attacks otherwise.

Managing to catch up to the fleeing guard, Shruick grabs hold of his collar and slams him into the nearest wall. The wound was finally starting to take its toll on the guard, he looked like he could barely stand.

Looking back at the rest of the group, Shruick sees the last guard collapse in a slump. Turning back, Shruick prepares to Interrogate the Guard

"Listen up, it'll be in your best interests if you answer truthfully. If you do, there might even be a healing spell in your near future." Shruick presses his arm into the guard's neck to pin him down, "Just what are the pirates planning, and who's calling the shots?"

As the chase came to a pause, so the feelings came back to Tikan's wounds. With her companion taking charge of their captive, she could sigh and slump down a little, taking stock and breath.

She nodded her thanks to the armoured one and slipped off to the corner, looking for something to bandage herself with.

If we are staying here a turn, then Find something to bandage and heal self with.

Mordekhai sighs inaudibly after his short prayer shows little effect, returning Tikan's nod before moving back to "Jacelyna".

"Well, aren't you an awfully violent noble girl?" he asked in a teasing voice as he gave her a cloth to clean herself after passing it on her brow.

He had little magical capabilities, and those were exhausted after a single simple healing spell. The old man was better with those due to his experience, but the young crusader knew he still needed some experience before being able to reach a veteran's level of expertise both in combat and magic.

At least his intentions were different.

Move on.

Nepthym gaze him a sideways glance.

"What can I say, Mummy and Daddy never paid enough attention to me. I turned to violence to fill the void in my heart..." She said, mocking his tone of voice.

((Sleep can be a wonderful was of making people late to do turns. ;_;))

Aegnor turned to look at Nepthym, and then quickly turned to look at someone else, slightly shuddering at the sight of blood. He instead hurries though the door, and Heals the injured woman.

"Figures out, you seem to have serious parental issues. Maybe a constant lack of affection." he answered in deadpan.
