"I am in Canada. Excellent."

Ask to borrow someone's phone. There is a call to make...

Well you can't say I didn't warn you...

Would you believe me if I said that I actually felt bad for you after I looked up the hours for the museum? On the bright side, just think of how rewarding it will feel when something actually goes as planned!

Hisir Namedene

Thinking fast, Hisir grabs hold of his halberd and immediately fires one of the blades high into the tree that he just fell from. The blade successfully lodges itself into the trunk of the tree, and soon Hisir is hoisted up off the ground to where he is safely concealed by the many leaves and branches above. At least, that was the plan.
In reality, about halfway up the blade became dislodged from the tree trunk. Thanks to some quick reflexes, Hisir was able to cling tightly onto the tree and avoid a second unwanted collision with the earth. Now all the Chosen One has to worry about is the rather perplexed looking elderly couple that's staring up at him.

The Moderator

The Moderator heads back to one of the homes he just visited and asks the small family living there if they would happen to have a phone that he could borrow for a moment. After some hesitation, they allow the Chosen One to enter their dwelling, and show him to the house phone.

Ring my own private number. Explain to other-me about the situation, and ask other-me for transportation to other-me's base.

The Moderator

The other Moderator seems a tad skeptical at first, but after chatting with his future-self a little more, he is able to be convinced. The Moderator tells himself to stay where he is and he'll see what he can do.

Other-Moderator

Hot damn. Future me talking to me-me? didn't that result in all kinds of dimension-voodoo? Oh well.

"ENIGMA, how is that Chippewa IIC we got from the Diamond Sharks?"

a small metal sphere floated over, and began to speak

"All Systems Nominal. the two LRM-15's arent calibrated."

"Oh well. Imma go to Vancouver, and get some answers from me. Please inform me if those Damn CIA try to trace me again"

Other-Me will fly the Chippewa IIC to the town described to me by me.

Proper-me

"Thanks for letting me use your phone. If that conversation sounded crazy, it's because it is."

Proper-Me will wait outside for some entrance with my usual flair. Look out for any potential Intelligence agencies' agents looking for me, or other Chosen Ones.

"Forget this. You don't want to remember this."
Run from tree to tree to escape the view of the old couple and search for a cave or some good hidden spot to make camp.

Zanzetkuken the Great

Zanzetkuken is finally able to enter the museum after waiting nearby for hours until it was open to visitors. He approaches the museum curator and explains his offer, but apparently museums aren't very partial to simply throwing money at anyone who comes in claiming they have a ten thousand dollar artifact.

More than a bit skeptical of the artifact's true worth, the curator asks that the Chosen One provide her with more information about the piece and why he believes it to be so valuable, otherwise she isn't willing to hand over any more than 500$ for it.

Hisir Namedene

The elderly couple did not try to stop Hisir as he hopped down from the tree and retreated further into the forest; especially not after hearing those mildly threatening words of his.

While, even after hours of searching, the Chosen One failed to find any sort of cave or den to take refuge in, he did manage to locate a cozy little spot in the woods that's far off from any trails. For the time being, he shouldn't be bothered by anyone if he remains in such a spot. Both because of the decent cover provided by the surrounding trees, and because there's likely only a few hours of sunlight left.

Estimated time passed: 3 hours.

13:25 remain.

Sir Havel the Unyielding

As the hot Sun of midday glares down upon the Earth, Sir Havel's hours-long journey across miles of empty desert at last draws to a close; the Chosen One has reached the outskirts of Carlsbad without any trouble.

Hisir Namedene

Hisir is already perfectly capable of controlling his dual-bladed chain halberd via power of mind, but wouldn't it be neato if he could expand that power so that it could be used to manipulate other objects as well? He sure thinks so. That is why he spends nearly the next two hours focusing his efforts on literally nothing else but the honing of his mental abilities.

Eventually, he's pleasantly surprised when he actually manages to snap a small branch off of a tree using only pure force of mind. It isn't much, but it's progress nonetheless.

Zanzetkuken the Great

It takes a while to prove to the curator that the Chosen One's demonstration was not merely some sly illusion. After examining the talisman herself, she makes some calls, and the Chosen One soon exits the museum with a briefcase containing no less than ten grand.

Quickly getting to work obtaining all the necessary supplies before heading off into a (somewhat) nearby mountain range, he ended up spending just over 1,000$ in total. Zanzetkuken now possesses everything he'll need to survive out in the open and untamed lands indefinitely.

Estimated time passed: 1 hour 45 minutes.

11:40 remain.

It worked ! Good!
Let's try it with my knifes!

Try to pull the knifes you have thrown into a tree back out until it's nighttime.
