Hisir Namedene

After skillfully lodging all five of his throwing knives into a nearby tree, Hisir attempts to remove each of them using his (still developing) telekinetic abilities.

His efforts continue until the utter darkness of night falls upon the land, yet the Chosen One only manages to dislodge a couple of the knives from the sturdy tree, causing them to drop freely to the ground near its base. Not as successful as he would have liked. Then again, no one ever said that becoming a master of telekinesis would be easy.

Sir Havel the Unyielding

Wasting no time, Sir Havel enters the city in search of an opponent worthy of his time and effort, while keeping an eye out for signs of any evil that may be afoot.

The Chosen One receives a lot of bewildered gazes from city residents as he walks down the sidewalk; he even gets a few compliments on his unique appearance from some less wary individuals, but sadly encounters no one that he would consider a worthwhile opponent.
Lucky(?) for him, as he continues his stroll through a quieter part the city, he hears the distinct sound of glass shattering nearby. Thinking it wise to investigate, he rushes to the source of the noise. As he turns a corner, he is met by the sight of a screaming woman being yanked out of her car, and the young man responsible quickly taking her place in the driver's seat. Another young man jumps into the passenger's seat as they get ready to drive off. Looks like the Chosen One has stumbled upon the scene a good ol' fashioned car jacking.

Zanzetkuken the Great

After finding a suitable spot in the mountain range, the Chosen One decides to make his stay in the area a little more comfortable. It takes some time and concentration, but soon enough the ground begins to tremble, and a stone structure erects itself from the Earth. From the outside, the structure itself is pretty modest in appearance; it's unlikely to attract much attention for now.

Estimated time passed: 3 hours.

8:40 remain.

Rush over and grab the rear bumper of the car, lifting the back tires off of the ground. Be careful not to damage the woman's vehicle. Once the thieves get the message and stop accelerating, set the car down carefully and move to the driver's side door, then brush any broken glass that remains in the window out of the way before pulling the driver through it and tucking him under your arm. Walk around the car and watch the second man sternly. Make it apparent that he isn't going anywhere soon.
Call the authorities miss.

Sir Havel the Unyielding

Catching the two young men off guard, Sir Havel is able to grab hold of the car's rear bumper and foil their attempt at a speedy escape. The driver soon realizes that using the vehicle for their getaway is no longer an option, and lifts his foot off the gas pedal. When Sir Havel walks over to his window, however, he immediately pulls a handgun out from under his shirt and fires three times at the knight of stone.
The first bullet barely misses, the second becomes embedded in the Chosen One's lower body, and third chips his upper leg slightly; Sir Havel looks unfazed by this.

Shocked by the ineffectiveness of his firearm, the young man drops the handgun. All he can do is sit there cowering in his seat as Sir Havel removes the remaining broken glass from the frame of the window and pulls him out through it, placing him securely under his arm.
Unfortunately, after watching his friend get pulled from the car, the passenger throws his door open and bolts off down the street before Sir Havel has the chance to stop him...

Take note of his physical appearance, attire, and the direction he left in. Ask his friend about him and try to get some information that you can give to the authorities while retrieving the handgun as evidence of the crime. Ask the woman if she is okay. Have the man apologise to the woman. Ask the woman if she has a way to contact the authorities.
Are you okay miss? My apologies that these young men dared to interrupt your day, and that I failed to secure them both.
Go on then. Tell the nice woman you're sorry.

Sir Havel the Unyielding

The Chosen One recalls from memory that the young man who ran away was fairly dark-skinned, had short black hair, and looked to be in his late teens. He wore a dark red hoodie over a yellow shirt, along with a simple pair of jeans and sneakers. He took off in the direction that Sir Havel first approached them from. Sir Havel tries to gather more information from the young man he was able to catch, but he refuses to say a single word to the Chosen One.

Sir Havel sets down his zweihander and picks up the handgun laying on the floor of the car, then checks on the woman who was forcibly removed from said car only minutes ago.
The woman is understandably shaken by the events that have occurred, but otherwise seems fine. She hesitantly thanks Sir Havel for his assistance, and nods when asked if she could get ahold of the authorities. At Sir Havel's command, the young man reluctantly and quietly apologizes. The woman then takes a cellphone out of the purse still in her car, and calls 911.

Tears begin to well up in the young man's eyes as he reflects on what his future holds. "We're dead..."

Hisir Namedene

Ready to take his telekinesis training to the next level, Hisir leaves his placid woodland sanctuary in search of a non-human entity to help him out with a bit of experimentation...

Set the young man down and look him in the eye. Keep one hand on his shoulder.
What have you seen?

Sir Havel the Unyielding

Dwelling in a state of hopelessness, the young man suddenly opens up to the Chosen One after a few moments of silence:
"We failed our initiation. Now they're gonna be looking for us and...we're fucked, man."

The high-pitched roaring of police sirens can be heard in the distance. Guess the authorities are on their way.

Who? If you feel any remorse over your actions, then you must tell me where they are. Regardless of what you decide to do, I will do everything in my power to keep you safe. I am not the one who must live with the consequences of your choices. I leave it to you then.
Wait for the police.

Sir Havel the Unyielding

The young man refuses to give any names, though after a little more reflecting, he does give Sir Havel a street and house address, informing the Chosen One that it's one of their usual hangouts.

Seems like that tidbit of info was given just in time, too; there are now several police cars parked around, and a gun-wielding, uniformed man telling both the young man and the knight of stone to get on the ground.

Set the handgun on the hood of the car and tell the young man to "get down" before approaching the nearest officer. Keep your hands behind your head the entire time and ignore any gunfire that comes your way. Once you've made your point, tell the officer that you have valuable information about a potential threat to the community. Request to speak with his superior. Inform him that time is of the essence.

Sir Havel the Unyielding

The young man does as he's told while Sir Havel leaves the handgun behind and walks toward the police officers with his hands on his head, ignoring any orders to stop. One of the officers fires twice at the Chosen One, chipping his upper body and shoulder, but is immediately afterward told to hold his fire.

Standing only a few feet away from one of the officers, Sir Havel calmly explains that he has important info concerning a possible threat to the people of Carlsbad, and asks to speak to the officer's superior as soon as possible.
Making an effort not to upset the Chosen One, the officer responds in a friendly tone, "Alright, well how about you just tell me what you think is so important, and I'll make sure to pass it onto the chief as soon as I can." The officer frowns after examining the knight of stone further; they don't have any handcuffs in his size, and he clearly isn't going to fit into the back seat of any police cruiser...

((I guess I'll just have to cross my fingers and hope its an actual gang hideout and not some poor kid's house.))
Lower your hands. Motion towards the boy. Make sure you talk loud enough so that he can hear you.
Do you know him? I saw him stop a car jacking. Another young man his age tried to steal this vehicle and he managed to fight him off until I stepped in. It was unexpected to say the least, a young pup standing up for the people. The jacker escaped while I was securing his weapon, and took off in that direction. I know where he's headed. Its hideout located on [insert info]. Confer with your "chief" and I will see that you are escorted there. If you have none among you that are brave enough to accompany me, then I shall go on my own.
Await a response. Summon your sword with a quick miracle. Look at the boy and see how he handled your lie.

Sir Havel the Unyielding

Both the young man and the officer are undoubtedly surprised by Sir Havel's story. The victim of the car jacking seems quite puzzled by it as well.

"Don't worry, we'll have some people check out this 'hideout', and I'll make sure everyone knows what a good Samaritan your friend is when we take him down to the station to ask him some questions. However, I'll have to ask that you stay behind. The last thing we need is a giant sword carrying statue interfering with police business..."

Hisir Namedene

In only a short time of searching, Hisir is lucky enough to locate a stray dog scavenging around the woods for food not far from his secluded little area. It would seem that the dog has noticed Hisir's presence as well, if its unfriendly growling and aggressive posture are any indication.
