Special Items are only for last game's winner, aka Zako.  Sorry if I wasn't clear enough.

Quote
Another mechanic is a starting item. Every player gets 1 item; there will be a list of items below.

Since Zako won the last one, his character will be making a return. Zako's character gets 2 regular items or 1 special item. If he wins again, and I decide to make another iteration, this bonus will increase, until he is 'dethroned' so to speak.

"All our loved ones?!"

Tirne looked around at the rest before noticing that he had spoken out loud, and to an omniscient voice.

"Well, the only one left alive is my sister...hmm. I guess this is a survival, yes? I'm not inclined to kill anyone, especially complete strangers.

"Tirne Summer, pleased to meet you all...shall we work together?"

Rick stood up, shaking the dizziness out of his head.
"Name's Rick. I guess you guys haven't had anything like this happen before either."
That was a slight lie. This wasn't the first time chasing after a girl landed him unconscious in someones basement. The all-knowing voice was new through, as were the people around him.

As the reality dawned on Axel, he felt a flood of emotions overwhelm him for a few seconds.

"Oh god... OH GOD, NOT THIS SHIT AGAIN!"

He barely keeps from crying as his mind works over the last time this happened. He had killed someone... Someone who needed his help while completely defenseless... He felt sick and had to breathe deeply a few times to regain control. They were using a new threat this time, and one that he couldn't do much about either...

He stood up and took another deep breath before wordlessly begining again.

Search the room carefully, being careful not to hurt myself in the dark.

"Not this shit again?

"Again? So...we're not in a mental asylum, huh?"

Tirne adjusted the frequency on his radios and tried testing them.

"These still work.

"And...please don't kill me. I just want to see my sister soon. Tell me if you'd find anything, everyone, I won't hurt you."

Go up the stairs, keeping watch for anything suspicious like strange smells or sounds.

Be cautious.

I can feel the drama, it's there, developing, waiting to leap out and make me roll my eyes. You two.  :P

Anyway, the first 1/2 turn there really isn't much to do. Especially since no one brought a light. Once you guys start splitting up it should pick up. Feel free to not offer an action on an intermediate turn, just notify me. ("Tirne examines his shoes").

Oh! I almost forgot the voting system. At the end of every 15 turns (15, 30, 45, ect), I will deliver a ration to a competitor. The voting will consist of voting for your favorite competitor. The idea behind it is that the viewers (you guys) are watching and voting for you favorite, akin to dancing with the stars. I'll allow vote switching, so feel free to do so. Players are allowed to vote mostly because I wouldn't be able to stop that anyway.

"Edit" It's up! I'll be putting a vote for Axel so I can view the poll easier. Just note I'll be subtracting a vote from him.

Buuuut, Hal thinks you are. You guys did want more Hal harassment. Here you go.  :P

"Edit" Unnnlesss you don't. Honestly this is an issue I have no opinion on and would like more feedback on. Do I go too far? Is it not enough? Do you even want it? Should Hal offer creepy encouragement? Do tell.
