You open the mystery box, and find nails! 10 of them in fact. Wait, you already have nails. Well, its something, right?

With the light upstairs, you read the note. The note is crumpled and dirty, water damage ruining a good portion of it. On the part that is still dry, a small note is scribbled in red pen.

I'm considering removing the intermediate turn. It seems kind of silly now with how the game is working out. I haven't gotten any feedback at all about any of my features, which makes it kind of difficult to improve this. Maybe I'm making it too complicated? It tends to be the death of my endeavors.

Basement - Evacuation Shelter
A dark room. A slow drip of water occurs somewhere. A bag, illuminated by a single privacy window, is empty.The privacy window is heavily reinforced with iron bars, and appears to be thicker than a normal window. Nothing else is illuminated.

Main Floor - Evacuation Shelter
Four windows, with a 2 by 4 attached by nails to each, provide light.

On the main floor is a couch, a wooden table, a wooden work bench, and two wooden chairs.  On the table are two glass plates. A wooden door across the room suggests a way out. It has an internal lock. It is open. Near one of the windows lies a shattered glass plate.

Outside
Outside is a bleak, gray world. For at least a mile in every direction is just concrete, flat and featureless. A dusky light illuminates the world, making it hard to see. The entire sky is covered in rolling grey clouds, with no 'sun' or other star in sight.

To the West you see a three story building, surrounded by a metal heavy fence. To the East you see nothing that you are able to discern. To the North you see a small, one story building. The windows seem to be barricaded. To the South you see a factory or warehouse, surrounded by a wall.
