My high school still has Latin as an elective.

I actually took it, and learned more during two years than most people in the class could in a lifetime on the subject.

The biggest problem is the teacher. She's old and crazy as they come.

Fuck that. I had it and it was really useful, but not anything I'd force on anyone. People should be able to take it as an elective or something though.

Only Spanish was taught at my high school, the German teacher left one year prior and did not get a replacement.  I took four years of it, I probably could speak it mildly well, but it's been awhile since I've had it and would need a refresher.
