I am amused, if I shot someone with 10000 BB's I think that would probably kill them. It's pretty amusing that they actually have a lethal weapon on here, despite their attempts to avoid it.

Is the Smile Shot thing really necessary? Couldn't they have just put a trigger? It is really funny how you can take out all your enemies just by smiling, though.
I love how they say the LOHAS thing only hits the target "from time to time".

Hey, if you fire enough bullets, one of them is bound to hit the target.

Especially if you fire this mech for 12 seconds
Which is how many dollars? $12?

Quick price check, I see 6000 BBs for $9.99. So $10/minute of fire.

If you're spending a million euros on a toy like this, a few hundred dollars for ammo seems fairly inconsequential.

I kind of refuse to believe this is real. If it is real, I'm expecting it to be made of spraypainted cardboard and duct tape. JMEMantzel is way cooler anyway.

e: Okay apparently this is real. Who's the dumbass that thought it would be a good idea to make it fire when you smile?

I dunno if they specified in the video, but how does it manage to generate enough PSI to fire two 3000 RPM gatling BB guns in full automatic?

Another interesting thing has been added to Santa's list this year.

...And without bothering to do a background check on the latest "toy robot", the events of the 2012 Kurata X-mas Mecha shootout came to place. It was/will be the best Christmas ever...

WANT NOW
You want that thing when you totally don't work for a government agency regulating weapons? It can't possibly be legal...can it?

BB guns are mostly unregulated in the United States.  :D

Hold up....this thing can be driven by a 3G phone?? And it comes in 16 colors, including black and pink. And for an extra few thousand yen, you can get the cupholder option.

WTFJAPAN Y U SO IMPRACTICALLY AWESOME?

Why wouldn't be it legal? Not aware of any laws against rapid-firing BB guns. Mind you, if there isn't it's probably because no one has actually gone, built one, and injured someone with it, but still...

As for the mech itself, it probably wouldn't be road legal, but that's a minor inconvenience.

I'm fairly certain you could kill someone with rapid-fire BB guns, or even not rapid firing ones. It may not be very likely to cause fatal injury, but not impossible by any means.

I think if you deployed this thing the police would kill you.
