Bowser, finishing up his sulking over the whole iguana incident, just lumbered over to the door in the ground nearby Cora. As he did so, he grabbed the spirar fruit from the cube and squeezed it to get the juice from it, feeling a little thirsty.

"This looks promising. You think that your animal heed trick can get some of the monsters down here to obey us?" Bowser asked, munching on what was left of the fruit. "This group could use some cannon fodder and some minions. If nothing else, I bet we can find lots of them tone things from the creatures in there, assuming this rhyme is accurate." Bowser began trying to pry open the door in the ground.

"Wait a minute. Regie, you've got that new remote, don't you? Try pushing it an seeing what it does." Bowser said after a moment.

REGIS waved his arms frantically.

"OI OI OI! YOUSE TOO!? REGGIE HAS A BADUN FEELINGS ABOUTS THAT HATCH!"

"Wait a minute. Regie, you've got that new remote, don't you? Try pushing it an seeing what it does." Bowser said after a moment.

The golem froze, his hands in the air.

"REGGIE WILL DO ITS IFFUN YOUSE PROMISE NOTS TO OPENS THATS JUST YETS."

REGIS calmed himself, then hefted the cube into his inventory. Oddly enough, this was the first time REGIS had actually used his inventory. He then pulled out the unidentified remote and activated it.

"Relax tinman. If something does come out, and Cora can't control it, you and I can stomp it." Bowser said. "You're almost as tough as I am, after all. And you got those healing punches. We'd be fine."

"CORAS? WHATS DO YOU MAKEUNS OF THIS WARNINGS? MAYBES WE'S SHOULD TALKUNS WITH THE OTHERS BEFORES WE OPEN PANDORA'S BOXUN. FOR ALL WE KNOWS, THERES COULDS BE SOMETHINGS WAITUNS TO EATS YOUS ON THE OTHERS SIDES."

"The way I interpret the 'warning' it's only when we enter the hatch that we'll be in danger, so opening it up to see what's inside would be safe... But that's not to say that something isn't waiting right underneath it for us to open it..."

"Wait a minute. Regie, you've got that new remote, don't you? Try pushing it an seeing what it does." Bowser said after a moment.

"Another remote? Must have missed that, yeah, the hatch can wait... For all we know, it could open it. Saving a lot of what would have been wasted effort..." Cora waits to see what or whom this second remote activates before trying to find away inside the hatch.

Nikolai sighed. Hunger and thirst were starting to hit him.

Get a couple of spirer fruits from a nearby tree and eat at least two of them.

>Yes?
"Could you guys also make a hamburger out of this arm when they cut it off? I wanted to eat it just for the sake of tasting it."
>That is horrible and disgusting. It will no doubt set you apart and create fear in your team mates. So of course.

Sadie turned from her sciencing to address the Halfling.

"Still, aren't we all just a bit curious? We should all be close when it happens...just in case anything jumps out at us!

You know, I once watched an interesting tellly-visioned program about a hatch buried in the ground-though they were on an mysterious island-and possibly dead and alive at the same time...now that I think of it, all of this we're experiencing is alot like that. But, I haven't seen any polar bears or monsters made of smoke yet. So maybe my analogy is hasty.

...and hopefully we'll have a better finale, anyway. *grumble grumble*"

"I think I know that show... I don't know what device you speak of, but that show was one of the most stupid things I've ever seen. It might be because the wizard doing it had a little too much of his own supply... but nothing made sense after the first installment, he quickly went bankrupt and no one has seen him or his show since... Some say he got caught up in a planar jump gone wrong..."

Sadie put on her mischievous face.

"Oh, it's not that-you just weren't a real fan, and it was just too deep for you to understand." Sadie said in faux-condescending terms-like a loony fangirl arguing on the internet would. She really was trying to make a joke, but not sure if it would get through the cultural gap.

"Yes... too deep for me to understand... says the fish-woman to the BARD." Cora's facial expressions turn dark, as there was obviously something that missed the cultural gap.

"Oh, wait, I get it... reel fan, to DEEP! Ha, man, it's been a long time since I've had to deal with fish-puns... I guess you could say, I need to be schooled in order to truly get it, but I wouldn't want you to puffer from trying to teach me all the finer details. So let's just leave it as such, and go sea what this other remote does."

"Indeed! Current-ly, my stream of thought tells me that that when we dredge up the remotes porpoise, it will turn out quite eel-uminating." She replied to Cora, almost with a straight fish face.

Nikolai silently felt a sudden urge to check if his sword was sharp enough to make good sashimi.

"Hey now, I may not be a punamancer but as a bard I have to keep to strict guidelines on a minimal amount per month... I've been a little on the short side all month. And since time, I'm assuming here which is rare, probably doesn't flow on a 1-1 to our home dimensions, I figured now would be the purrfect time to catch up, so sit back relax, and let me punnel you with punny puns, just a shame I never got that feat... +1 to hit with every pun would be nice."
