No, I mean the ones that are still on the planet

Have them join the exodus.  If they don't may their deity have mercy upon their souls.

Not anymore, but weaponize it all the same.

1200

The years of Unity through conflict. For the first time in history, the Alliance and the Mariners joined together to fight against a common foe. The Kalkara were fought back from Ataskira, before an intervention from the Ataqalaas sealed the victory. The Vorglockie with Hintred were taken to a new home, where they became the Vinthro. However despite these common alliances, peace looked as far away as ever.

The Alliance began these two decades in turmoil, the Kalkara invasion had swept away their best forces, and they were losing ground fast, so in desperation the Alliance turned to their mortal enemy, the Life ships, for aid. The Life ships agreed to a diplomatic meeting, were a single converted allied fighter flew off towards Vistig. Once there they met with Mariner diplomats, and talks of aid began.

Meanwhile back home the Alliance began operation Low-Red, pulling all of their people and forces back into the mountains in which the Kel’nar lived, whilst a small group of monitors moved towards the Largest volcano in the Kalkara’s path, mount Valin. They placed a large amount of charges in the mountain, before hiding them for remote use later on. The Alliance forces in the mountains meanwhile, switched to guerrilla warfare. They attacked groups of Kalkara with landslides and ambushes before falling back into safer hidden locations. However the Alliance cities which were seen were targeted heavily by the Kalkara, and they had sized three cities in the mountains before the Mariners arrival. The Vorglockie in this time, suffered greatly under the Kalkara assault, some of them fell back with the Alliance into the mountains. Some others kept fighting but most surrendered to the Kalkara, aiding their forces in the campaigns to come.

The Mariners in this time built up their forces, those who had shown themselves to be the skilled commanders in the battle of Vistig along with those who had distinguished themselves against the Kalkara were implemented into the Mind, but rather than being put directly into the mind they were instead placed into robotic bodies with remote intercom to the Mind. The Mind also reached out to the Hamriel, and was overjoyed when the Hamriel offered to commit as many forces as they could muster to aid the Mariners in both space and on the ground.

Meanwhile negotiations with the Mariners were finally completed in 1182, but the life ships had to wait till 1183 to act with their forces in order to prepare them for the conflict. The Mind looked at the Alliance data to try and decipher the Kalkara battle strategy on ground conflict. From what it could see the Kalkara based their military system on multiple small, mobile groups of Kalkara warriors and vehicles, which would sweep about an incredibly wide front to divide and slaughter any resistance, if an area of resistance was well equipped and posed a threat then multiple groups would converge on the area of resistance to annihilate it.

This would partially explain their incredible success against the alliance which had up till now fought Hintred who had relied on mass armies colliding in major battles to decide the conflicts. So the Mariner/Hamriel battle strategy developed to combat this. Whilst they had nothing that could match the speed of Kalkara transports and battle vehicles, the Hamriel combat troops and vehicles were better protected and better able to fight in formations. The developed strategy was to divide their own forces into small groups that were still larger than the Kalkara for their Hamriel forces, whilst the Mariner groups were divided even more into tiny transport groups in inter-sphere transport ships. The Hamriel groups would destroy all stationary Kalkara strongholds and drive about hitting as much as they could, whilst the Smaller Mariner groups would counter any Kalkara assaults against the Hamriel groups relying of the Life Ships to support them to destroy the Kalkara, all the while they would search for a chance to destroy most of the Kalkara in one decisive engagement. With this strategy developed the Mariners prepared for battle.

In 1183 the Mariner fleet attacked the Kalkara over Ataskira. It was the largest battle the system had ever seen involving over 9000 ships, at least 7200 of which were Mariner ships. The overwhelming numerical superiority of the Life Ships triumphed in the day, and the Mariners wrested control of space over Ataskira. They then began the landing process as over 400 000 Mariners and 300 000 Hamriel landed on the planet to assist the Alliance.

The battles that followed were ferocious, at first the Mariners managed to make great progress against the Kalkara, however soon the lack of numbers began to tell. The sheer numbers of the Kalkara and their Vorglockie ‘allies’ began to whittle away the Mariner forces. In battle planetary bombardment helped to reduce the casualties, and despite having a casualty ratio of 3-7, the Mainers were still running out of men. Then the Kalkara began to converge their forces inside the oldest Salmass city in existence, with so many opponents available, the Mariners struck the city with antimatter bombardment. The city was reduced to ruins, and heavy protest came from the Salmass, but a full third of the Kalkara forces had been annihilated. With this the Alliance left the mountains and counter attacked with their forces and the Kalkara were by the year 1196 driven from the planet.

The spoils of war were bountiful for both the Alliance and the Mariners, but the best was artificial gravity technology. Both sides also seized anti-grav technology, the Kalkara penetrator weaponry, and better shielding technology which allows the smallest Kalkara transport to be shielded. The Alliance was also able to seize the advanced communication technology, known as ‘Rift’ communication.

After the war the alliance made massive construction work to restore the planet, the Vorglockie who had sided with the Kalkara were deafeted and sent of as slaves for the Mariners, Karlask and remaining loyal Vorglockie without any consultation with the Kel’nar, it was made by the Salmass, Karlask and loyal Vorglocke. The Salmass hatred for the Mariners grew with the loss of their city, but for now the entire alliance worked on making their world whole again. The Mainer Mind quickly came to two conclusions to increase the number of Mariners, a mass cloning program, or a colonisation of the planet they orbited, to increase living space, or both.

However in 1198 a massive fleet of Kalkara warships, larger than the Mariners whole fleet, soon jumped into the system. It made a beeline for the Mariner home moon, as the mariner fleet was desperately scrambled up, a large fleet of Ataqalaas warships appeared and placed themselves between the Life ships and Kalkara, a standoff ensured for some time, before the Kalkara fleet headed home. The celebration that ensued was immense, until the Ataqalaas gave them some news, soon they would be tested, then after that, the Ataqalaas would leave forever.

The Vorglockie with Hintred meanwhile, received warning that they must leave, or all good would be lost. To this aim the Vorglockie built ships which were constantly mysteriously sabotaged. But they did constantly work to upgrade themselves and soon a unique culture emerged. One of Organics and machines, any Vorglockie who deserved it would be turned into a machine, and the Machines ruled the organics and chose who was worthy of being upgraded, whilst he Organics did the grunt work. Then the Vorglockie were moved, and they suddenly found themselves on a moon orbiting a large gas giant, along with many other moons and a large asteroid field. These highly adapted Vorglockie found that they were actually suited to this environment, ad began to call themselves the Vinthro. Soon they had colonised three more moons and multiple asteroids. With technology to make cities almost instantaneously. They called the planet Slaskier, after the great continent of the past, and began to make new ships of large proportions. However soon fractures started to show and by 1199 the Vinthro were poised for civil wars of independence.

She had gotten the news with almost a startle, in fifty years another, final inspection would come, and fifty years after that the Ataqalaas would leave the younger races and the entire galaxy. However with this she had been given permission to intimidate the Kalkara, a task which she had succeeded, the Kalkara clearly still remembered the war with the Ataqalaas. The Vinthro were setting themselves up nicely, and she was glad that they had been moved out of the Biosphere, but the Allianceand mariners didn’t seem too happy with them, and she had to admit if they had still been on the planet, the war would have been much less costly for the Alliance. Still it wasn’t long now, Slask would have to reveal himself soon and the Alliance and Mariners would have to be strong enough to fight off the Kalkara on their own soon.

OK note on the Ataqalaas leaving, it means one of two things, one is that if the game ends, thats were I will end it, and two, it doesn't have to end, but if it keeps going you wont be able to do any more genetic modification, and can only talk to them through relics

Keep the game going!  It would be interesting to see how the new races interact with the galaxy at large.  The races could ask for a relic to contact the Ataqalaas from time to time for advice on matters of importance.  By the way, I think the only person to use outside genetic manipulation at this time is Armok.

Proposal to Life-ships
The formation of a defensive alliance against outside hostile forces.  Both sides will contribute to the defense of the other.

Total technology share of both sides.  It is apparent that this may be the only way we can defend ourselves against our enemies.

Add what could be agreed upon.

Please continue this

Actions,

Backdoor into the first mind, he will be a speaker, for the Atquaalus,

Upgrade our computers, work towards this, http://www.orionsarm.com/eg-article/506308cd7f8c1, in light of the tech sharing agreement, transapient supersoldiers and scientist will form the thin red line

Begin the mass cloning and colonization program, too boost numbers, like I said these will become, transapients, we should look to developing more efficent energy generation, as well as converting stellar mass outside, our system into computers.

I screwed a quote from history, or maybe I didn't, while I enjoy World War 2 History I don't have all the quotes down.

So share of scientists, having transapient supersoldiers, and the share of knowledge will be the extent that the cooperation would be, in the case of the tech sharing agreement?

All of my tech for all of yours, sharing until agreement is broken, processes for creation of transapients are shared, and a possible datasphere as well.

I can agree to that.  Any ideas to add to the technological advancing portions of this list of the Alliance's actions?

>Rebuild local ships for experiments with hyperdrive technology.
>>Equip with G-S laser grade weaponry for defense against hostile forces encountered in experiments.

>Ask Hamriel and Lifeships if construction of a diplomatic embassy upon their worlds would be acceptable.
>>Build if acceptable, and allow them to construct their own.

>Continue rebuilding the planet.
>>Repopulate with cloned plants and cloned animals from earlier samples of life before 'the Great Plauge'
>>>Induce genetic variation through (very slight) manipulation of genetic code.
>>>>See if life-ships will assist with the repopulation attempts.

>Learn about the construction of Kalkara technology
>>Reverse-engineer what is learned to improve existing technology.
>>>Construct vehicles with similar properties to Kalkara technology, but improve the technology.

>Construct communications grid using the ‘Rift’ communication technology tuned to a unique frequency to prevent taps into our communications.
>>Leave an option to use 'default' setting to tap into Kalkara frequencies.

>Learn how to detect ships using FTL travel
>>Construct large satellite grid around the system to monitor travel in-system, outgoing, and incoming traffic.
