hm. if i remember correctly, upgrading the army costs almost as much as training new soldiers. I suggest training more, whenever our industrial sector has manpower to spare, instead of just upgrading old units.

Defensive is for whimps, blitzkrieg the major powers's colonies oversees, cream there economic power, then surround them until they are pounded into submission while you delicately convice them to fight one another.

While a general, I can't help but notice we need more raiders to help assert our dominance. Without trade, the industries of other great powers - which at this point depend on colonies more than we do - will slowly grind to a halt, and when their land armies run out of supplies, we'll be able to drive them out with minimal causalities. Soldiers still owned by their loyal colonial savages should still be in proper fighting condition, but they're no match for our army anyway, no?

Oh, and I suggest upgrading our current forces. then training more. Starting from the ones guarding Uristia City, of course. While still in the suggestions department, we want to take out the colonies first, with the sole exception of their capitals, which will be heavy guarded; said capital is useless to our enemy anyway, and can be taken down later. Leave a couple guards at the capital's borders so we don't get a breakout caused by the Sissians, and shift the rest of the forces straight to their homeland. We'll take them down.

By defensive I mean colony raiding. Offensive, to me, would be attacking a major nation's capitol directly. Screw drawn-out territory wars, I always go for the kill.

If we have the resources and power, blockades should be setup along their entire territory. We should certainly be raiding when possible and modernizing all our units when we get the chance. I would also like to request that the Mountainhome be designated a museum ship once her usefulness has passed. She is to be left as is, un-upgraded, docked at Uristia City for the enjoyment of the populace.

True, I don't like Siss any more than anyone else, but we should really exploit our alliance for all its worth prior to declaring war upon our allies.
