How dumb are dwarves, you ask?

They haul wheelbarrows. You'd think.. no I dont want to go there.

Hopefully fixed, wheelbarrows by themselves shouldn't slow down a dwarf.. I mean.. He could just wheel it, right?

huh ... I hadn't noticed.

Yeah they should just wheel it. Though they haul wheelbarrows so rarely for me that I don't really think about it.

Are they supposed to get a wheelbarrow to wheel the wheelbarrow to the wheelbarrow's stockpile? :P

Yo dawg, I heard you like Wheelbarrows, so we put a wheebarrow in a wheelbarrow, so you can haul while you haul.

Id like to see them use wheel barrows to haul stone to their workshops. Turns a half second trip into a 2 second trip.

Wheelbarrows with wheels are inferior to the true wheelbarrow.

I'd like to see them use wheelbarrows for construction (with a maximum settable in the Orders screen, of course). It turns a 2 or 3-second trip into a 10-15 scond one.
(I usually build with clay, see.)

Someone drew a sketch on this particular bit of dwarven idiocy a while back when wheelbarrows first came out that made me LOL.  A dorf pushing a wheelbarrow to the stockpile -- upside-down.

I don't understand, though that is about right with anything DF related.
I just hope he dies the same death that all dwarfs deserve: liver disease.

you mean elves with loads of stone loaded onto their backs while walking on their hands with dwarves holding their legs to guide them?

I noticed this while making iron wheelbarrows. This is the best explanation I can come up with...
