"I could juuuust make it so that you have an organic engine inside you, and that you are also able to breath in space, that'd be much cheaper... And only mildly intensely painful." Fniff nodded.

"Seriously, I could do it just for a fiver, rather then the billions they'd charge you. The pain only lasts a few seconds, anyway."

It's only a few million, actually- it's pretty cheap when you have someone finding all thee materials you need in space. I can talk to them if you want, and may help with the cost.

"I wouldn't say random aliens. There are a few out there that don't really like us, but the rest we're pretty friendly with. Some of them really like jazz, even."

Phantom calms down and calls the first pizza parlor in the phone book, "Hello?  Do you speak english?  No? Yes?  Maybe?  I'll order a pizza with pepperoni, olives, pinapples, and tomatoes, another deep dish with sausage, one with pepperoni and bacon, and one with cheese and tomatoes.  Okay?  I'm still not sure if you speak english, but bye!"  Phantom hung the phone up and turned to everyone else, "The pizzas should be here sometime."

I don't wanna become half pony or something like that. And uh, that's kinda the point. The aliens will then send a forward scout that will devastate an area ranging from a city to half the globe before being brought down, thereby alerting the world governments who will give us the funding to reverse engineer the alien tech in preparation for the eventual invasion.
