Spinal, who had been preparing his room, rushed down the stairs and into the lobby.

"Did someone say food?"

Seeing the pizza set out on the counter, he slid over to Fniff.

"Hey, can I get a bite?"

"Yeah. I figured it wouldn't hurt if I posted the link on a few other places. Turns out that a lot of cults have a lot of money. Not that I expect you to succeed of course, but I suppose you can try if you want to. Now, let's see if they got my order right..." Having said this, Doom walks over to the pizzas and opens up the boxes until he finds his. "Looks like they got it right," he said as he picked up a slice. He took a bite. "Good. I need to order from them more often."

((Waking up with hangover))

Alex dragged himself out of bed slowly. And by bed I mean table. A glance in the mirror revealed a cross between an abomination and ten pints of vodka. He had played a gig last night and must have got stone drunk at a bar or some plot like that. Alex knocked his white trilby back into place as he walked through the corridor.

Coffee. That's what he needed. Or at least something hot and caffine-filled. Reactions were slow and slugghish, and Alex found himself stubling at an alarming rate to the ground. Wait, that's not the ground, that's a flight of...

Alex managed to successfully roll down three flights of stairs to arrive at the pizza party. "Erif no si niarb ym dog ho..." The words somehow flew backwards out of the mouth of Alex. A loud cough announced his presence. "Morning, gents... oh, pizza breakfast." Kyrby stumbled his way to the coffee machine and made a hot cup of coffee for himself. "Anyone know what time I got back last night and how drunk I was?"

[Furtuka]

"That was you? Around 5:20 AM I saw what appeared to be a quivering blob of semisolid alchohol walk upstairs, but I had assumed that it was one of Fniff's experiments."

[Spinal_Taper]

"Furtaka, can I grab a bite? I'm pretty sure Fniff wouldn't mind right?"
Spinal stretched one gloved hand towards the boxes.

"And it is now... damn." Alex downs his coffee in one. His hat falls off in the process, revealing a yellow sticky note inside. "Huh, don't remember putting that there. ...Guitar lasers? That's... actually brilliant. Anyone know where I can buy some small lasers?"

[Spinal_Taper]

"Well, I knew a place down in Boston, but I don't know if they're still open. You'll need a license, that's for sure."

[ExKirby]

"A laser lisence. Huh. I don't believe I saw that coming." Alex takes a slice of olive pizza and starts om-nom-nomming on it. "Well, the electronics should be simple enough, just wire the frets to an output console and hook up the lasers... but I need lasers for that. And more coffee." Alex refills his coffee cup.

[Spinal_Taper]

"Not to mention one hell of a power source."

"I think I can use the kinetic energy from the strings there. And add a battery to inside the neck as a rechargable source. This is so good it has to work."

[Spinal_Taper]

"That would probably work well. Say, where exactly did you go last night?"

[ExKirby]

"I got a gig in some club and got wasted at the after party. I also think the drummer took a hi-hat to the skull.

...Which reminds me, can any of you guys play drums?"

[Spinal_Taper]

"I think Robert can. Want me to ask?"

[ExKirby]

"Please. I'm gonna convert the guitar neck into a kinetic battery now." And so Alex left to invent guitar lasers.

[Spinal_Taper]

Spinal looked up at the ceiling and spoke softly.
"Hey Thomas? You there buddy?"
His revolver began to glow with a soft golden light, before expelling a crusty, translucent, incorporeal hippy.
