Spinal heads up to his room. He opens the door, and begins to remove his weaponry.

"I'm waiting for a room. I'll have room, uuh..."
Tyson thought about the room he'd want. With a window above ground level for sure, so first floor or higher. Then again, he only carried about 4.5 metres of rope at any time, and he could fall about that again, so no higher than the third floor. As well as that, a door some way away from the stairway would make for safety, but ultimately he wanted to be a bit near in case of emergency; windows are hardly the most safe way out in an emergency. Running things like these through his mind were commonplace, working out how likely certain situations might be came naturally. It was just something he tended to deal with a lot, and he'd hat to become a lot better at decision making.
All of this, including the self-indulgent reflection occurred within a second and a half, and while to an outside observer; it may seem like a short but awkward silence, to Tyson it was a REALLY awkward silence that he needed.
"I'll take C8, if that's open. Also, do you have a pantry or something? I have a present I'd like to leave.", and with this he pulled out a bundle of white-grey rabbits tied together by the legs. "They would probably keep okay outside, but I don't want to risk anything taking them, and I'm sure a fridge or something would do just as well.".
Tyson leaned on the counter with the heel of his hands and looked over with a curiously hopeful expression.

Furtuka hands Graknorke the keys for room C8

"Uh you can put the rabbits in the kitchen. And uh, I'm gonna need a deposit and rent money from you two."

"Should be no problems with money, but I'll need to know what currency you want and how much. And if you can exchange currencies too."
Tyson took out his sizable roll of money he'd sorted out earlier
"This should PROBABLY be enough, if it's too much, slip the excess under my door or something. If it's not enough, there's not much I can do about that."

End of Keeping up with the Bay12: Season 2: Episode 1

--------

Last week on Keeping up with the Bay12!

Hey hey hey, we're back! Everyone's been moving into the apartments again, as befits a proper first episode.
Also there was Ramen. Lots of Ramen. Omnomnomnomnom
The old tenants's have apparently mellowed out a lot. Still kill people though.
Also there are at least two people have Multiple personality disorder. That'll be interesting
Phantom and Jim found a Scooby Doo passageway with a fuzzy thing in it. Isn't he just adorabloodthirsty?
And there's also an abundance of Assassins!
Kingfisher killed an officer of the law.
Johhny's mother is scary.
Fniff keeps comafying himself! He really should see a doctor about that.
Alex the music man!
DOOM IN SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE
A KGB agent appeared and got fed to the subbasement!
Jim had trouble and handed his half of the apartments back to Furtuka!

Now let's see what'll happen next, on Keeping up with the Bay12!

Fniff read the newspaper at the lounge, and looked at the pages. The front page was mostly delegated to Vladmir Putin (As per usual, they really couldn't get over him for some reason, whether they hated or loved him) and the missing ex-KGB agent in a tiny little sidebar that didn't even deserve a second page. Fniff sipped his coffee and ate some of the very fresh croissant he bought from the bakery just done the road. It did lovely croissants.

Furtuka meanwhile was at the front desk, appearing to be doing something important on the apartment computers. However, if one ere to look at the screen, they would see that he was actually playing Happy Wheels.

There comes a loud *pop* from the stairs and there comes a loud thud, followed by a buu sound as Phantom falls over the bottom stair once again.

"Phantom, do you have adamantium bones or something?" Fniff said, looking down from his newspaper. "I swear, you should break your bones more often."

Furtuka pops his head into the lounge.

"What was that noise?"

Fniff sighs. "Just Phantom being his usual harlequin slapstick. Sometimes, I suspect he was the offspring of a clown and a librarian."

"That's two-thirds true!"  Phantom says as he pulls himself up and checks to see if the little guy is alright.

"Probably the sound of the stair being dislocated? I dunno."
