The last year especially, I think.  I've noticed many pro-legalization statements from influential figures recently.

And I'm not thinking conspiracy.  Just a shame, because you know these incidents will be used as political ammo.

I think they simply didn't test for the right kind of synthetics, or they botched the entire operation and tested far too late, missing the drugs that actually caused it, and since THC doesn't dissipate very quickly that's all that was left in the bloodwork. There's absolutely zero possibility that it's only caused by weed, haha. Also I thought initial reports were that man was on a drug binge for 4 days before that? Or was that another zombie?

Remember, theres plenty of mind altering substances just waiting along the roadside.... like Datura (which has never been made illegal and thus isn't tested for)!

I thought that Salvia was only very short lived, though vivid, hallucinations. I wouldn't expect that to actually cause any major psychotic episodes unless the user already has/had an underlying psychological mallady.

I have gotten my parents into conversations about the oncoming Z day and we have decided that we should be pretty well prepared for it as long as it isn't airborne and is only fluids transfer that causes conversion. We live on a farm and have enough renewable food sources at our disposal (not to mention a vast armory and the ability to make our own ammo in somewhat limited numbers) our chances of surviving is pretty high.
