Yeah, but how can I produce plasma? Just pumping plasma ain't fun: I could just use the "heat" button.

Plasma arcing, Sheb. Two electrodes (one in a bowl of mercury), make the bowl out of coal. The mercury provieds electricity and the coal somehow refuses to melt ever.

Do you have a neat trick for generating pressure? Uranium pressure cooker are incredibly effective.

I don't know about pressure, but the coal doesn't burn. It'll heat a ton, but it won't melt or burn.

I think the only real way of generating a LOT of pressure is air tool, or vents.

And changes colour. I personally prefer Diamond-Insulation-Titanium layering for my high-temperature stuff. Diamond as a lining for the chamber, Insulation to prevent heat transfer, and Titanium to deal with any pesky pressure that might otherwise leak out.

thunder creates immense pressure, but it's extremely destructive.

Exotic matter is fun. It has tons of interesting properties.
1. You can make it by sparking BREL that's under extreme heat and pressure.
2. Electrons make it generate pressure, enough at once and it goes rainbow explosion. I am not kidding. It also makes superheated WARP.
3. It can convert itself to other elements. It's related to the timing of its pulses.
4. If you cool it down, it A: generates negative pressure and B: pulses faster.

Also, Antimatter now makes photons when nomming stuff.

Alternatively, leave an air gap between the diamond and titanium layers.

Unless you have ambient temperatures on, in which case it would just melt right through.
In which case it melts through no matter what anyway; especially for those chain of fusion reactions I mentioned. They can last several minutes un-aided. Speaking of which, does anyone know of a good way of getting rid of singularities? They form in the final CO2 => O2 + sing fusion, and tend to kill the reactor by sucking out particles and pressure.
