Oh, I forgot to mention how I was going to do it.  I'll only give a hint: it involves the force stronger than the DF gods, the world souls.  Also known as the embodiments of Armok.

[If you want (yellow) oliolli to show up, there's a vial of oliollitis in wierd's hazard suit.... still not analyzed yet. ....wonder what would happen if it got on a phyrexis victim.....]

"I am you," said the other Zanzetkuken.  "Though, from the opposite side of the multiverse, where all realities are changed.  I absorbed the power of Clockwork Hugo, Yawgmoth, and Oliolli and dominated them all.  Now, I plan to send the ultimate form of phyrexis to create a perfect multiverse"

Oliolli may be unavailable for some time. We'll see after this whole Phyrexis-thing. I do have something planned for that time.

NINJAS! NINJAS EVERYWHERE!

Also, the ollioliitis was the stuff Gbaneg was subjected to, if memory serves. Oliolli won't be involved, only another Olliolifex.

...we don't want a re-run of the whole Spawn of Olliolifex -thing, do we?

Did you read my edit?  They ARE Armok!  Well, at least one form of him.

Oh, Eric, they are not dead, just converted to a different form, so I don't see how that annoyed the goddess of death, since they didn't die.

It pissed her off just as much as "not killing" Athel did. My apologies if they wouldn't normally register as dead, but as long as there isn't a soul directly controlling a body, and the machines have no soul, a necromancer has the opportunity to steal it away, just like wierd and I attempted to control the cyberdwarves.

And no, nobody reads edits after more posts have been made :P

Makes sense, Oliolli is clearly different from Oliolli. One is made using font color, the other using Glow.

Also, hate to be nitpicky, especially since I wasn't even expecting anyone else to start using the glow-effects when dealing with oliollis... Hugo, it's supposed to be a teal glow, not a blue one  :P Except if it's a different character...

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

An artificial form of life, which is not recognizable to a necromancer's senses, causing them to register as dead. Their original souls may still be there, but they are not controling the body, and thus the body is considered dead or undead, without a controling influence, and their souls trapped and prevented from passing over. Which as we all know is bad.

[Do the infected keep changing after death? Roead smashed the head of one of them.]

No, this evolved form possess the one that killed them, or canibalizes the body and forms their own.  Don't worry, the forumites are immune (except happyface, the injection only prevented it from entering and he already had the stuff in him.)

Oh, Eric, they are not dead, just converted to a different form, so I don't see how that annoyed the goddess of death, since they didn't die.
I also don't get why she'd be annoyed. Way I see it, it's not any different than an organism deconstructing other organisms to make more of itself.

Also, bear in mind that each nation in DF has it's own pantheon. There isn't just one death deity. Each deity also usually (but not always) has one or two other spheres. For example, the culture these elves originally came from might have a god of Death and Hospitality, while the Mountainhome worships this purely death Goddess. The races are not united, either; there are other Dwarven kingdoms (who we've had nothing to do with, though) that have their own gods. The tablet your secrets came from was made by this particular goddess, though, so part of your soul still sits on her shelf.

Zanz, what I meant with my question was "is that one dead?" Roead wouldn't be infected; there's a sort of protection on awakened mummies for that sort of thing. Why else wouldn't he have begun to rot after being exposed to other air conditions?

The souls are still controlling the body, but their thought processes are warped, so they behave differently.

Then the latter is put into place and they canabalize the dead host to create a new one.  And thanks for helping me out trying to get Eric to understand what I am trying to say.

Remember; the fallen Cyberdwarves could not be reanimated, as all their motor functions had been replaced with mechanical parts. The augments can only respond to the electrical signals of living nerves; zombies don't use nerve signals as they have [NO_CONNECTIONS_FOR_MOVEMENT]

These phyrexians work differently, I'd imagine, seeing as they are not undead. Necromancers need dead organic matter; they can't 'reanimate' someone who is still alive but a vegetable. They also cannot 'reanimate' broken machines, like making a 'zombie' drawbridge.

And just a friendly reminder; I have exclusive rights to the Big Bad. I'd really rather not reveal spoilers, so just try to limit the scale of disasters to less than significantly metaphysical. This seems to be shaping up to some kind of ultimate, inter-universe showdown; tone it down a bit!

Really Eric?  Really?

These are evolved, do you really think that they would be affected by electricity, or if they are, not have some method for avoiding the majority of the shock?
