I'll have it be over tomorrow.

Compared to the battles that normally happen, that is quick.

And Hugo, wouldn't you notice something if Wierd became Death?
Probably would, seeing as I'm bonded to his soul. That and being sensitive to magical disturbances. I'm attached in such a degree that he gains some of my compassion and empathy, after all.

[Again, please don't escalate into an ultimate battle to determine the fate of all of reality. You said this would be over quickly, leaving heavy losses for our fort, but be over quickly nonetheless.]

It's not actually that much, just 50-60 planes.  I overstated it by alot.

Hey, only one page to bypass the old thread!

As long as 49 or 59 of those 50 or 60 planes are in MTG. And still, 50-60 universes is pretty damn huge scale. I thought that the war would be over, and this outbreak is a last ditch attempt by the losing side, trying to create one last refuge base to hold out in.

I would say about 50/50 in the two multiverses.  Not too big of a scale, compared to the entirety of the multiverse(s).

Last ditch attempt?  This guy wanted me to come there!  He just made it look like he was losing.

Ah yes, Zanzetkuken and his dark self are currently in a pocket universe off of the dragon one, where pure mana distorts time and basically stops aging, so while only a bit of time would pass for you, I am thinking of having a few dozen years pass for them.

Nir cackled in delight! She had not walked the mortal plane so freely in AGES!

The misty air took on a sinister atmosphere, as her power surged through the puny mortal she was driving. He indeed *was* a real treasure; as were all the strange beings that had materialized so strangely in her world.

She recalled with delight the day he had contracted with her. Oh, the amazing things that mortal had contained! It had been hard to choose which piece of him to hold against her heart. But he was right, this alone was worth conceding the contract! The feel of real air in her lungs! The coolness of the night air! In this body, she had access to all that foolish mortal's knowledge; so many GLORIOUS forms of killing his world contained!

She shrieked into the night; a cocophony of cackles as if every night creature in existence had come to pay a visit on the lonely little hovel those fool dwarves had built.

The clouds turned purple, and the mist turned into pure gloom. The dead rose in droves.

Eels rained from they sky, as she took flight.

Nothing is big compared to the entirety of Reality. Bringing in people and objects from other timelines when we're already bringing them in from other Universes and Multiverses kind of makes things messy. Seeing as this conflict is expanding the scale of the setting, I would say that that makes the scope still pretty damn large.

The mortal's disgusting male body just wouldn't do. It was totally unfitting attire for her!

She raged accross the sky, shrieking like the cold spectre of death she was, clothing herself in gossmer moonlight. The dark brown hair of her vehicle melting into a more appropriate form, pigtail clothing bursting into flames and falling away from her beautiful, free, and naked body. All spirits came into the mortal realm naked, and that's also the way they left. Bury the corpse with clothes! Ha! As if they could take it with them!

Long, luminous silver hair was her only covering, as it rippled around her. Pleased with her image, she dove toward the earth, killing everything in her path, the only limit to the variety of was was the limits of the imagination of her vessel; and it was quite clever and savage indeed. So much splendor! She sang, and life ended.

Something just occurred to me. Dragons, and other Megabeasts, have the [POWER] token, meaning that they can become gods to a civilization. What kind of bargaining power would that give me, I wonder? Gods and Megabeasts are all creatures of highly magical nature, after all. I guess Megabeasts are primordial spirits that chose a physical existence, and Deities wound up with an incorporeal existence. Despite having no physical body, though, the deities are more powerful, as their ability to commune with their believers directly lets them amass vast amounts of followers. Megabeasts have to actually go around and talk to their followers, and can be killed. The gods, on the other hand, can more easily shape the world with their commands to their legions of believers, and when the followers grow powerful enough, they might directly influence things using powers in accordance with their spheres.

The megabeasts, though, might still have some say in the divine board meetings if they cared to attend.

So, death is killing phyrexians?

To counter:
Dark Zanzetkuken felt the ripple of a diety affecting the world, letting Oliolli take control of the fight against his other self, and summoned the essence of the Eldarzi gods to devour death.  They were getting hungry, and he needed a way to nourish them...

Get inventive!  You cannot completely kill them because a planeswalker is linked to them, and without physical forms, death may have a difficult time facing them.  Especially if she is being absorbed as nourishment during the process.

Nir stopped. Their field was littered with corpses in every imaginable state of death. She roared triamumphantly at the night sky!

Take her jewels from her, would he?! FOOL! They were HERS to do with as she wilt!

Then, she felt fear. The realm quivered, and a beast unimaginable power appeared in the dark sky, and fell to the earth in a ball of fire.

She would have none of it.  He vessel was filled with arcane things about material existence. Formulas and proofs and laws. Things far removed from her native sphere, but with him within her, they were now hers as well. Knowledge floated through her. This was but one physical instance of unimaginable numbers, but so too was it true of herself. She was a being of faith, and as long as even a single believer, in any ordering, of any interval of time or space believed in her power, she *WAS*.

The concept was alien to her, but she rejoiced in the revelation! The mortal's mind called it 'super position', and claimed it was the undeniable, true state of existence. Whole universes existed in superimposed states with others. There were infinite numbers of instances of herself, this world, its inhabitants. There was no such thing as absolute oblivion, as nothing was 100% certain.

She cried out in ecstacy as she felt for, and found, all of her *TRUE* power; all that had been required was for her to open her eyes and see it! Oh, beautiful mortal, your little deal for your pitiful sliver of your tiny soul was a fools bargain compared to what you had given! This alone was worth continued favor. Always and forever....

Reality re-manifested itself, and the stone beast that had fallen from the sky faced a horrible new fate; a truely novel and spectacular way to die. She channeled, and became the instance of herself that was triumphant. Uncountable numbers of worlds fell, but this was the one where she always endured. Always.....always..... always.......

[Warning! Too much OP'd imminent!]

The dark room was filled with laughter that no one could hear. No one but the laugher, gazing at his wall of screens. The pieces were getting too powerful. The interlopers were getting too close to harming his plans. But it did not matter. Last time, it hadn't been a threat to his design, and because of that, he let it slide despite being unexpected; the misery had been delicious, so many of his targets had perished gloriously. Up until one of them began to form a Singularity, though. Luckily, the pawns had dealt with that problem themselves, sealing it away and sealing their own fates.

This time, things were getting out of hand. But he had expected meddling this time. And now they were meddling too deeply, too completely; they were entangled in his will, just as much as the forumites were. Now they too played his game, by his rules, and this one would suffer for trying to destroy his chessboard...

Damnit, freaking ninja'd!

[Only the truly omnipotent can comprehend the vastness of all Reality. If Nir thinks about it too hard, she WILL go insane. [Well, I'm very much stuck.  I don't see how I can keep Gizo X and Gizogin alive through this, seeing as they're outnumbered twenty to one-and-a-half (Gizogin only counts as a half, because he's just going to be dead weight in a fight).  That goes double if this stuff is infective.  I can try something, at least...]

"Come on!" Gizo X called.  "We have to get out of here!"

Gizogin and Gizo X were huddled together inside a burning ring of fire, the distorted faces of the infected dwarves a terrible sight in the flickering light.  Gizo X was straining, trying to keep the fire hot enough to keep the dwarves out, yet contained so that it wouldn't consume them as well.  He was pushing his limits as it was, and he wouldn't be able to keep it up for long.  Their only chance was to push for the exit, where they could get to the tank and make their escape.

"I'm going to start moving to the door!" X yelled over the roar of the flames.  "Stay close to me, and run when I tell you!"  No sooner had he finished saying that than one of the braver dwarves decided to try his luck with the flames.  The dwarf took a running start and tried to jump over the red and orange wall, but it didn't manage to clear the flames and ended up writhing on the floor as its flesh melted off.  Gizo X kept moving, keeping the ring of fire around him and Gizogin.  They were almost to the door now, and only three dwarves stood between their circle and the exit.  Gizo X kept up his pace; the dwarves could either move or burn.

Suddenly, Gizo X faltered.  The flames winked out for a split second.  "What's going on?" asked Gizogin.  "What's wrong?"

"I don't know," X replied, through gritted teeth.  "Something big just happened, and I don't like it.  We have to get out of here now.  I'm going to drop the flames; when I do, you need to get to the tank.  I'll be right behind you."  He gathered up his will, and sent it out in a roiling wave of fire.  The three dwarves in front of the door were blasted clear out of the tower, and the others surrounding them fell back.  "Run!" X yelled.
