I'm with Lillipad here about not really wanting to do Hit-List 1 in a full session, but for the opposite reason: I want to bolster the credibility of my upcoming bid for Archmageship by vanquishing Purgoth the Unclean in single combat and then scattering his undead army before me. I'm willing to go with the group here and spend tomorrow beheading spies instead, but if I had my druthers we'd do it the other way around.

I'd actually rather you post an action every turn, even if it is the same one each time. Stuff could come up as crit fallout or during jobs that you might want to break pattern and deal with, and it will save me a bit of headache if I don't have to dig up that blasted PM each time I have to roll you. If I wanted to dig through my PMs, I wouldn't make you all post your stats.

I really don't see the point in me going on an "auto-pilot training thing" if you're just going to have me post the actions anyway. If you're really so adamant about not wanting to dig through PMs, just set me on the same actions every single day. As for critical fallout, I really don't care. If it makes me miss a turn, then whatever. I'll miss a turn.
And I really don't know why you have so many PMs saved if you supposedly have to dig through them to find specific things.

Though I am a manipulator and a no longer among the living, I feel that my magical power and my devotion to the magical community of the Southwest ought convince the Council to overlook these minor flaws. If required, I shall gladly present proof of the following deeds, each demonstrating my merits as an applicant:

-That I am independently wealthy from my farming business and thus have neither need nor inclination to accept bribes.
-That I have worked to make peace both with and within the lycanthrope community and have personally volunteered my services in educating their youths.
-That I have aided the priesthood of the Goddess Affriena when they were attacked by mundane humans, without revealing the secret of magic.
-That I am a noted healer, having restored seven deceased men to life and healed many others from terrible wounds.
-That I have rescued one of the esteemed Archmages present, Palorur the Blender, from his unjust imprisonment on the plane of Tartarus.
-That I have rescued another of the esteemed Archmages present, Kathryn Lynch, from the thrall of a Black Naga that had enslaved her in her youth.
-That I have served the final of the esteemed Archmages present, Sapphire Wisp, with both faith and discretion.
-That I have defended the Realm of California against a rampaging Astral Dragon, slaying it with a single spell before it damaged the city of Los Angeles or the secrecy of our community.

Regardless of the Council's decision in this matter,

Grek, I honestly think that Ariel is the last person we'd want to see as an archmage. Not to mention the minute KAth and her fight over something shit'll go down so...

What exactly do you think will happen? We'll get into a fight and one of us will try killing the other? Why would you even suggest that?

I mean, yes, Ariel is very good at killing things. Better at killing things than most of the team. Her spells are kinda horrifying, I'll admit, and the whole ghost thing is a bit spooky. But let's look at her motivations here: She is confident (justified or not) in her ability to defeat or escape from any attacker up to and including a dragon or another Archmage without needing to get the upper hand by attacking first. She does not need to eat, sleep or drink and can be reasonably expected to live on for centuries as long as nobody manages to kill her. She is both willing and able to retreat to Tartarus and avoid Earth entirely for the next few decades if the situation on Earth gets bad enough. That doesn't add up to "is deperate enough to kill other Archmages at the drop of a hat to get her way politically" - it adds up to "inhumanly risk-adverse" and "will remain patiently diplomatic for years before risking lasting injury in an ultimately pointless fight over some law that she could just move to Hell and ignore if things get bad enough." You'd have to be have-your-face-printed-next-to-an-entry-in-the-DSM crazy to get violent over mere politics in her shoes.

@Taricus: In fact, Kath and Ariel get along just fine professionally-from what I recall, neither of us have actually fought IC or Out.

They're both women highly motivated at what they do, and being on the same side, won't endanger their mission and lives over petting political feuding. In theory! We don't know how strong Ariels political ambitions are.

Personally, Kathryn is a bit shocked at the lengths she's willing to go to-turning into an undead seems a fairly depressing way to 'end' your life, but that's just an opinion.

2 hours: If I can't get a hold the god I will go after Kath. Buy a overnight ticket to NY. Use it. Expensive and tiring. But fuck it, I'll kill that monster before I would let it 'posses' Kath.

If anyone, Emlyn's the least likely to become an archmage on this team. There hasn't really been a time to show it yet, but he's neither loyal to nor interested in the "new order" and any of its archmages other than Sapphire(Kestrel and Tohsaka as well, if they're archmages, can't remember).

They're not. Kestrel's a mystic and therefore barred from holding public office, while Tohsaka's a foreigner.
