Hello! I created this a bit ago, and stopped playing for a while, but for this fortress I got a bit tired of normal architecture, so I hope you guys like this style!
(This is in Z-level order)
The entire outside area
The entrance area and barracks (archers left, normal right)
I made four stair columns go down a while to reduce traffic
The grand dining room, along with my beer and food stockpiles
In the center are my main levers, for the bridge and for the river floodgates
also in the center are the stairs to....
The farming area and the brewing workshops (and the kennel)
So that idlers can still harvest
Spent a while designating this. (Why yes, it looks like a triforce)
The bedrooms and stockpiles, as well as some workshops that need stockpiles closeby
The noble rooms, didn't have too many at the time I stopped playing, so they weren't too developed
(theres one more noble room other than these)
The Metal workshops, there was a lot of gold around here (and thankfully coal)
One of my artifacts was actually a golden splint (with spikes, ouch!)
My mines, I like this style, it's fun (not
!!fun!!, but fun, though it can be
!!fun!! at times)
The last noble room, the resident vampire manager. In his spare time he engraved all the walls in here.
The doors will always be locked unless I want to give him a pick or something
And lastly, the cavern entrance. This system is pretty nice I think(except for building destroyers) but the middle doors can be locked so the monster goes to the side, then locks itself in.
And that's my cool architecture fortress.
