funnily enough the word draconian or draconic can mean evil, which seems non-coincidental doesn't it?

anyways, never saw anything that devotes its time to eating humans and stealing their stuff as too evil. [/my strange dislike of humans, which makes little sense considering I am one.]

anyways, this mod seems like it has a lot of potential, hopefully as stuff becomes more moved into the raw files over the years (you started a dragon-centric mod, continue it for years, or else...lol) then you should be able to make dragons play completely differently to dwarves, especially once we get into the diversification of civilizations.

also on an off side note if this mod makes it that long im going to see this post at some point and laugh to myself, im also going to laugh at the fact that I made this sentence on the end.

The Dwarves must have shared their brewing methods with the dragons.

Or did dragons originally teach the dwarves how to brew?  :D

Tomorrow I will try this (I have no time :'(), I'm excited about the mod  ;)

If there isn't another update!  :D

I want to play this so bad, but I keep forgetting, when I do I'll see if I can make a lets play, if my fraps will work. >.>

Do that!  I will make a link to it on the main page if you post the link somewhere in here!

If anyone wants to make a succession fort, go right ahead!

I prefer to view the dragons as powerful, as the west views them, and wise, as the east views them.

I would laugh if it makes it that long as well!  However, I would need a lot of ideas to make it last that long, but you never know!

Heresy! Why would a bunch of big lizards know better than Dwarves?

The dragons went back in time to teach the dwarves, who later taught the dragons, who went back in time to teach the dwarves, who taught the dragons, who taught the dwarves, who taught the dragons...

I have recently started playing the mod myself!  It may be even funner because you are trying to balance the no-clothing with good thoughts, and trying to avoid all of the bad thoughts!

EDIT:  Played a fort for a season.  Entire thing was destroyed.  I NEED to fix the clothing bug!

A stable time loop. I should've seen that coming.

Of course who do you think invented the internet?  Humans?  Pfft.   Obviously space dragons from the future.  That humanity as a early starfaring race discovered, taught the intertubz to, and then got eaten.  The Space dragons then went back in time and invented the intertubz, so that humanity would more easily get space travel, so that they would eventually encounter space dragons.

It's all a cycle of a free lunch.   Why do you think so many Bay12ers have dragon avatars?

...Obviously.

A stable time loop. I should've seen that coming.

However, the time loop can only happen in HFS.

Why do you think there are
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
?

EDIT: also explains the anvil.  What do you think, they went all the way back in time to just teach dwarves how to brew drinks?

EDIT 0.2:  How do you get items to be used as upper body clothing?

EDIT 0.3:  Never-mind that question.

EDIT 0.4:  Ignore EDIT 0.3, MIND THE QUESTION, MIND THE QUESTION!

EDIT 0.5:  Anyone experience slow-downs with dragon movement when armor is equiped?

My latest world is called the Plane of Dragons. Elves rule the world while Dwarves no longer exist. Which means I can only play as Dragons. Huh. Funny how world went from "The Golden Age" to "The Age of Elves".

And the humans have two large kingdoms. Who want's to bet their empty and in ruins?

"With the fall of the dwarves and men, and the subsequent rise of the elves, the dragons banded together to fight the scourge, and end The Age of Elves..."

That would be a perfect intro to a succession game!

That is would.

How I'm I supposed to get moon and sun stones without Dwarves around anyway?

Force a war between the two? would be epic indeed. Slayers, humans, dwarves all gone. Just the swarm of elves, can dragons take on an ant swarm?

EDIT:
Dig, dig and pray

I put the sun and moon stones on the dragonologist civ.  Can't tell if it actually genned, though.

[ITEM_ARMOR:ITEM_ARMOR_COAT] --- ITEM_ARMOR is upperbody
[NAME:coat:coats]
[UBSTEP:MAX]
[LBSTEP:1]
[LAYER:OVER] --- As long as this is not ARMOR
[COVERAGE:100]
[LAYER_SIZE:20]
[LAYER_PERMIT:50]
[MATERIAL_SIZE:5]
[SOFT] --- can say HARD but it think even then if it's made from THREAD/CLOTH it will still rot
[LEATHER] --- Leather never rots
[STRUCTURAL_ELASTICITY_WOVEN_THREAD]

So

[ITEM_ARMOR:ITEM_ARMOR_CHAIN]
[NAME:neck chain:neck chains]
ARMORLEVEL:2 --- removed this, this is clothing now (or it should be)
[UBSTEP:0]
[LBSTEP:0]
[LAYER:OVER]
[COVERAGE:10] --- very low chance of blocking anything
[LAYER_SIZE:15]
[LAYER_PERMIT:50]
[MATERIAL_SIZE:1] --- very small
[HARD] --- shouldnt wear out? I know with 40d this was the case
[METAL] --- only metals
[STRUCTURAL_ELASTICITY_CHAIN_ALL] --- Not sure what this does really, maybe stop it from covering the HEAD?

Found major bug:

Dragons stuck in middle of nowhere with wine (or anything else) with "No job" when clearly I have designed some tree to me chopped.

CURIOUS_BEAST_GUZZLER must still be on dragons. CURIOUS_BEAST_XXXX mentioned before is the main issue, I beileve dragons had ITEM and GUZZLER in vanilla.

Remove all CURIOUS tags from teh dragon raws, and regen
