"How do these things usually go down?"

"Well... first we land. If we're lucky, like we are now, that'll be a painless, danger-free process without any anti-air defenses whatsoever.

Then we get out and start screwing around. Usually we'll have at least a fair idea of what we're doing, but bad ideas and things to do while three other people open a door are pretty universal.

At some point, we'll come to something we don't understand. Immediately someone will shoot it. Since I'm on this mission, I'll yell at them and tell them we didn't need to do that. Then we'll shoot something else, someone might get shot in return, and eventually we run into something even worse. Someone goes insane or vomits from horror, we continue shooting things and occasionally actually investigating or interacting with things, and eventually we more or less complete what we were trying to do, or at least blow up the objective well enough that there's nothing more to be done here.

In short, 'poorly.' Maybe we'll be able to exercise a bit more restraint this time, though."

Take a gander at the images on the sides of the cube - are they just colors, and if so, what kind?

How much does the cube resemble a proper Rubik's cube? Is it 3x3x3 or somehow different?

Can I begin solving it like a regular Rubik's cube, with all the twisting and shit?

How large is it exactly? Give me a comparison to a body part at least.

Intelligently judge its abnormality. Anything obvious? If thoughts of holy inquisition or intense derp become oddly insistent, take a minute to calm down and not do anything.

Though what you said is with merit, depending on whether I got it right. Still, if it weren't for the suit, I'd not be like this, you can be sure of that. Not very useful.

Present Times

Not having the time to visit the hangar and get his armored suit, Milno is at the briefing room in the usual attire of the HMRC inmate - gray shorts and shirt - whilst trying to squeeze stasis fluid off his hair. After Steve's done with talking about the missions, Milno's approached by several volunteers. "Pancaek, guess you won't join us because we need human-looking people for this one to keep our profile low, though I'm interested in your pills. And yeah, Skylar. Wanted you on the team. Preacher Man (Lars), you're in."

"As for the rest of you volunteering for the first team's mission, skills?" he asked, addressing Jack Hansan, D'Artagnan and anyone else interested in joining his team.

Grab my SWAT gear, Monoatomic sword, Brass Knuckles, Cutlass, Microwave Field Manipulator, and if possible, my combi-weapon and Mk1 Suit.

Before I go, ask the AM how much it would cost to get a sword like Renen's (the true mono-blade), then thank her and get in the shuttle.

He grabs his stuff, SWAT gear included, and heads to the shuttle.

Finish my mortar design, see if I can get it prototyped. If so, get the materials together and assemble it groundside. Regardless, also grab Simus's gauss rifle and ammo in the newbie fund(if available, regular rifle and ammo from the fund if not), Mk 1 suit, and then hit the shuttle.

Put on Body Armor, then Longcoat. Grab my rifle and the nades and head to the shuttle.

Jason goes to grab his SWAT gear, shotgun, some beanbag ammo for the shotgun if we have it, some buckshot shells, smoke and flash grenades, and riot shield. He also grabs his Mk I suit and goes to the shuttle Just grab my MK I and head to the shuttle, since the Shackle is already on my arm..
