unters / sweep team members[/b], please sound off if you are coming aboard the blackship.

By my count, I have Pan, Tavik, Empiricist, and Doom at the moment. If I'm dropping Milno's gear off, someone needs to bring it down here. Sooo, if anyone else is coming to the blackship, could you bring that crate with you? Assuming someone else isn't going to try and get to him. ))
((Actually Charles won't be joining, he's trying to find someone to attach his turret to the ship so that he can remain out of danger.))

((Am I the only one who questions the logic of having all the people armed with kitchen utensils as the first wave? :P
I mean its very ROMAN, but its quite possible that all the "sweep" (A.K.A. SUICIDE) teams will suffer massive casualties, since we're the first on site and the worst equipped.))

((They aren't 'first wave', they are simply meant to help finding the SW and UE's by spreading more eyes around. I put them in teams so people wouldn't be inclined to wander around alone, and to get people moving (besides, newbies will have to get experience at some point, this seems like a good start).

Quote
((Don't be so negative! Although someone lending Grate a weapon would be nice...))

((Remember the defense team still has its token budget. I don't believe it has been depleted yet, so you can buy Grate a weapon. Or take one from Auron's locker, there are several there and I don't think he'll say no if you ask him for one. Or lend one from Feyri, she has several I believe. And if none of that works, ask the AM to give Grate access to my locker, where he'll find a gauss pistol with plenty of ammo he can use.))

Quote
((Hey, do we each have our individual tokens or have we switched to the other method?))

((Both. You can buys stuff with personal tokens, or lend tokens from the mission budget and return those items at mission end.))

You want to see me cry, don't you, Miya. Well good thing I don't have lacrimal glands, but I can still feel the chemically induced 'pain' thanks. Or maybe its just me a-

((Actually, I gain sustenance from the tears of women and children. Please, do sob for a while so I can fuel my Misery Engine.   :P

But seriously, I put you on the team with 2 people who like you already. That should help keep things easy for Feyri to handle, right? Also, in order for Skylar/Krylla to be able to launch this/next turn, would you mind if your team boarded the blackship now? Teal is already on it, so that means at least 4/5 of your team can head out, maybe Morul too if he's healed by then. Sky will drop you off at Milno's location and you can head down from there to sweep part of the lower levels. Sounds ok to you?))

(assume this goes to the rest of Amp hunter team too)  "We'll go to where we last spotted the Amp specialist to try and see where he has headed, maybe prepare an ambush. It will be best if we wait a little while longer before we engage though, I at the very least want Jim and Simus here too. My head still hurts, so I won't be using my manips at normal level, and going in understrength will just end in messy death. "

@ Krylla: I think you should launch once Feyri's team has boarded. Or, if they don't this turn, just launch next turn anyway, so Milno and friends won't have to wait too long.))

understood that you're out of time, posts you missed:

Mother fucker. How did I miss all those?

((good for me))

Quote from: Pancaek->people on amp hunting team
Hello there dear comrades,
As I am being put on the rapid response team, chances are good that I will not be there for the battle against the UWM amp specialist. I would hereby like to call dibs on that particular asshole's body. If you'd all let me call dibs on the juicy space magic generators in his brain, that would be super, but I suspect there will be other people interested in those, so I'll take what I can get. What I would like to ask is to be allowed the remains of the man's corpse, to present to The Doctor, in hopes of perhaps reverse engineering what they have done to him to be used on myself.

Kind regards and lots of hugs,
Pancaek

With that, he suddenly remembers that Steve is back online

Quote from: Pancaek -> Steve
Greetings, oh robotic overlord.
I don't suppose you know what they did to that amp specialist to make him so powerful?

Send both mails, then go to the blackship and be on standby for order. Try and get a feel for how well my mind has recovered.

>The result of extensive drug therapy, physical alterations and training.

You head to the Blackship, feeling still kinda woozy.

Lean forward really really close to the helmet of my "prey" then meow loudly once. sit down on its chest and type into my wristpad. then meow once more before hopping off it, grabbing the invisibility cloak off of it, putting the cloak on and then walking a short distance away before sitting down. Avoid being near terrain hazards.

If given enough time and opportunities, switch out who is the inviso-person multiple times, and get a good standard of comparison between how hard it is for someone without my advantages to spot invis-people and how hard it is for me.
You yowl at the invisible man and then pull his cloak off with your teeth and trot away, extremely satisfied with yourself.  You throw it over yourself and then go hide nearby.

As per difficulty of finding, visually it's about the same. Smell or hearing wise, it's easier.

"Okay, okay... enough enough "
get up keep watch continue playing with catgirl when bored
The Catgirl steals your cloak and disappears somewhere. Dang.

"Holy shit. That is one hell of a bruise. Note to self, grab some padding for the coat."

Get treatment, praise Algis.

((Yikes. With that amount of bruising, I'm pretty damn sure I have internal bleeding.))
Maurice gives you coagulant boosters and pain killers.

"Take it easy for a while. Try not to get shot again."

"Есть, начальник! Gonna find myself a lookout spot then, and report if I see anything odd. I'm going to set up my drones as stationary cameras around the place, too. Let's hope they can't fail sitting motionless on the ground."

Locate building chunk. Find a lookout position in some sufficiently concealing pile of debris with line of sight to the building chunk, preferably a safe distance away, and set the three drones down on the ground, some distance away from the lookout position, facing in different directions so as to cover as much of my surroundings as possible. Then settle in and keep watch for anything at all moving or interesting, and report to Steve if anything happens.

"Well, if there's one thing I got a lot of experience in in this Corps, it's staring for hours at boring video feeds waiting for something to happen. Let's hope there are no giant murdercrystals around."
You keep an extremely good watch through about a dozen eyes.

"How about providing two viable configurations for my life support systems? The transformation would ostensibly be a switching between these two configurations, which would cut oxygen to my brain for only a few seconds, yes? You'd have one configuration of connections for the skateboard shape, and one for the human form. You could even use the same systems, presumably, just change up the connection settings. And the transformation switch would require a signal from my brain to initiate, but the procedure would otherwise happen without my mental involvement. Something of that sort, anyway."

"Or heck, maybe just let me turn into another vehicle instead. Like a motorcycle. I'd literally be the village bike in that situation."

Propose more!

"It would probably just be better to give you wheels or something. Extensive transformation means lots of moving parts. Lots of things to break or get stuck. "

((Fukkit, I'll just post here and in TEN now. Not like I'm doing much right now.))

Fly over to a food place after I finish transforming. Obtain a considerable amount of food on the tray (use my digitigrade feet to carry it while walking on the other two) and proceed to chow down on that delicious biomass.
Grow a mouth if necessary. A beak or something.

Then, after I've eaten, go report to the docking cradle or wherever everyone is.

You're rather trapped in a large white room. The doctor is hanging around nearby, twiddling his thumbs.

"Have to keep an eye on you. Make sure you haven't gone feral." He says as you grow ears. "So. Do you feel like devouring humanity? Just checking."

A happy medium between the generic "angel" and the "real" angel. Like a wingspan made of rib bones, with fleshy bits sewn between them. Lots of eyes. Basic shape of a generic "human-y" angel with all the details of a "real" one. Obtain more parts if necessary.
Alright, so you got your weird little amalgam of human-ish looking flesh stuff. Now what?

Try to figure out a way to move on without passing through the lasers using logic and without moving. Send a message to hurry up everyone who wants a SW hunt.
Hmm. Well, the fifth and first towers don't have the trip wires. You might be able to jump from the top of one to the top of another. Though thats a pretty big leap, even for you.

continue licking that elbow! Tat elbow will be licked!
Don't make me dislocate your shoulder in your elbow licking quest. Because I will.

Give back the inviso-cloak and then climb down and locate Feyri.
sneak up behind her and give her a tackle-hug, meow once after I hug her.
You return the inviso-sheet and then go tackle hug Feyri, who seems rather depressed.

"Oh, shit... That's right..."
Thomas struggles to his feet and tries to clear the drug induced haze. Then he goes outside to grab an arm from a sod, then goes over to The Doctor.

((Oh boy. Non-May flesh monsters. Buckle up.))

Ok, so what is this drugged addled hedonist gonna do with a severed arm?

Has May infected you?

Also the doctor isn't really around right now.

Quote from: Denzel Gaunt to Miyamoto
I'm already aboard the Blackship and working on the point defense lasers so we can designate ground targets, but if you have someone who's better with systems than me, they can feel free to take my place and I'll go with sweep team 3.

If Miyamoto has a replacement for me, leave the blackship and wait outside for further orders form sweep team 3's boss.
I'm honestly not sure. We'll just go with it either way, assume I did the right thing. I'm lost in a maze of flesh.

Now, since several people said they want in-game message of their new orders, the fact that there were no major objections to this plan, and because some people are making great use of their time...

continue licking that elbow! Tat elbow will be licked!

... I'll just do a general message so everybody can get moving again.

General message to all team members:
Hey team, Miyamoto here.

"After discussing with Jim, we've decided how to organize the hunt for the last remaining threats. You'll be divided into teams with distinct objectives so that you all will have an idea on what to do. If you are currently otherwise engaged in hunting for those two royal pains-in-the-ass however, you can continue doing that.

Remember people, it is imperative that we get the SW, Amp specialist, and any remaining UE's. If we allow them to slip away they'll still be very dangerous and even harder to root out than now. They could sabotage us every step of the way, and if we want to be ready for when the UWM retaliation comes, we simply cannot allow that to happen.

Now, these will be the teams (note: people in bold italic are team leaders, responsible for organizing their team and coordinating their efforts):

Any questions? If not, you have your orders, so gear up, find your squadmates, and move out!

Miyamoto out."

Quote from: Grate->Miyamoto
Dear Meamoto,
Understood. Heading out.
Sincerely,
Grate

Pack up the critters. Make sure they aren't absurdly uncomfortable.
Locate Ms. Feyri. Follow her and help her, if possible.
Critters packed in your locker, Feyri followed.

Hey look, a cat girl!

Locate other members of Team.

"What type of enviotnment are looking at here? Is it a straight path, or are we flanking from multiple angles? How many dudes are we up against? Have we suffered any casualties yet?"

((Hey, do we each have our individual tokens or have we switched to the other method?))

You join up with your team, ready to actually do a thing other then Sex, Drugs and Rock and roll.

"Skylar, ETA till take off?"

I believe we're taking Milno his gear, so as soon as that's loaded we'll be off. Speaking of...

Milno, could we get your approximate location? We're likely going to drop off your gear and some reinforcements near you, if you could find a place for us to land.

Wait for the last stragglers and for someone to bring that crate down. If no one brings the crate and no one else volunteers to take it to Milno, magically command an AFK'r to bring it down :P

(( Fellow hunters / sweep team members, please sound off if you are coming aboard the blackship.

By my count, I have Pan, Tavik, Empiricist, and Doom at the moment. If I'm dropping Milno's gear off, someone needs to bring it down here. Sooo, if anyone else is coming to the blackship, could you bring that crate with you? Assuming someone else isn't going to try and get to him. ))

((Hey, do we each have our individual tokens or have we switched to the other method?))
(( Both. We still have our own tokens, but there is a team fund. No idea how much is left in the defense fund, I'm sure PW knows. ))
A weird fish man brings you the crate of stuff. Thats...different. But ok.

"Probably, if I had metal..."

Check my repair kit to see if it has a welding torch or anything like that that lets me crudely work metal.
The repair kit can let you repair pretty much anything, but has a set number of "uses" so yeah, assume it's there.

Once I get my answer from the science guy, go and get an MFM from the Armory, plus two Scout Eyes. Then join up with Amp Hunter team, if this is possible.

Bought and joined.

Go regroup with the Shadow Walker Response Team.
"Roger, Wilco."

Regroup with designated team
Michael reads the message from miyamoto
"Well time to join the hunt"
grab and equip invisibility cloak and make my way down to the causeway, send message, go to location given by miya if no location given then meander towards repair pits

((I'm guessing we should post here? I'll do that, see what happens.))

If I'm finally off that infernal elevator, go outside, fire off my rockets, get Joker their equipment if they don't have it already, grab a volunteer (preferably a space wizard, preferably Pancaek) and make my way towards the control towers while flying low and away from where the Amp Specialist fell, using all available sensors (cameyes, regular eyes, ears, intuition, etc) to spot the enemy, ambushes or any incoming attack. If possible, send one of those automapping drones to take a look inside the repair pit for that Amp Specialist.

Ask Steve:
"Okay, can you provide information about those underground passages to the Sweep teams?
Can you give them the position of choke points?
How many choke points are there?
Could we cover the tunnels with our current manpower?
Could you provide us with sensors like those IR laser ones or cameras to set up in other choke points if we don't have enough manpower?
Or material to build barricades out of? Is collapsing the tunnels an option?
Also, any way I could take the shadow walker down non-lethally? For that matter, is he a cyborg, a human, in an exosuit? Could I knock him out or destroy his sensors or simply disarm him? Can he be spotted by cameyes?"

((Can someone else also ask questions? I hate being the only one bugging Steve like that. Granted, he's a robot, he can take it, but still...))
