Because people are trying to get profits by undercutting each other in the B2B, the price for strawberries has dropped like a rock. I was set to get 2mil from my strawberry harvest, now I've had to cut it to 750k because of people playing the undercut game.

which makes less people produce strawberries due to the lower profits, reducing quantities on the market, raising prices again.
Also the cheaper strawberries are the more likely people are to start industries which require them, you actually get greater demand for them when the prices go down.
Prices should eventually even out again.
Also Losbocc We seriously need to upgrade our factory sizes, we have heaps of engines/steel/car parts lieing around but not enough factory hours to do anything with them, theres a good chunk of cash lieing about that maybe could be used for it. I was almost tempted to spend it all on the Trucks at 32k on b2b atm, as is i bought enough to last a 2 days in our stores.

Ugh, I messed up my company bad. Put in $0.15 per share dividends when what I had in mind was 1.5 cents per share. So, I decided to dump my stock. Which kinda messed up the stocks too. And apparently when you lose the company, you lose all control over it

Oh well, I'll rest happy knowing that I've got half a billion dollars at the age of 20. I'll just stick to the steady job at Auto Union.

Risk is the name of the game here. Yes, I took a risk and now I risk losing, and I'm fully allowed to be pissed about thet.
What I'm not about to do is declare the game to be broken, delete my character and go cry about it, because that's fucking stupid.

I can always pull a character reset, and try again from square 1. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

I've kinda screwed up my last few investments, but i'll recover most of it when Standard Oil and Mining finally increases in value (probably a few days from now since i just got loan for 1/2 the companys entire value)

I have Asperger's. I tend to interpret everything literally regardless of how hard I try not to. I thought you mean selling the stock short, not buying it from someone else at a lower price. Now that you managed to clarify this I understand somewhat. However I still don't think there is a way to do that in this game. It might be an interesting suggestion to give to the developer of Economies of Scale but I digress.

All I know is I'm happy staying out of the stock market in this game, or at the very least not going public. Even if I did own at least fifty-one percent of my company's stocks I'd still probably screw that up somehow and get the investors very mad at me. Truth be told, I'd rather just grow my cocoa beans, process them into cocoa powder, and then eventually get back into making those goddamn milk chocolate bars again without deciding to have a moment where I decide to restart my account because it once again feels like a chore playing an addicting game like this multiple times a day, every day.

To be honest, I have considered doing that but playing Economies of Scale once a day when I have no life as it is and am at my computer most of the day is kind of boring. The whole reason games feel like a chore for me sometimes is when they get too repetitive and in the process lose that element of fun that makes them a game. Hence, why usually if I start to get to the point where I feel like a game has become a chore I usually either do a reset or take a break for a while, depending on the circumstances.

Also, I've started using the alarms on my cellphone to tell me when to get back to this game. This in the past has helped me with other games, like Dwarf Fortress, Freelancer and Morrowind, and has in the process extended the fun I can have with them by either giving myself a sort of time attack mode to work with or by telling me when to get back to playing that game so I can play something else in the meantime. I do appreciate your suggestion by the way, and I don't mean to be stubborn if that is what I'm being.
