"Funny thought. The enemy rigged this place to explode when they've seen us enter. Why I didn't say this in the first place - waste of tactical resources. But hey, the exit is now open, and strangely...err, I see no logic in that kind of plan.

OK, here's to betting there is a trapdoor or secret hallway, or people hiding behind doors with a death weapon just waiting for someone to enter.

"Or everything is rigged. Columns, supports, inside worksmanship..."

Move to the nearest door, and shoot the handle from a safe distance, listen for anything.

wait for ok signal and then shoot holes in ground floor but try not to bring the building down.

"Err, an all-quiet seems like the better condition, Lukas. Its too quiet here. Also, I figure this place, as a police station, has all the propaganda or safety measures pasted on the walls, including any criminal activity IF WE COULD JUST FIND THE ARMORY- err, I mean the offices."

Addendum: Examine the walls for anything informative - fire exit routes, any signs or symbols...

((It seems that I have found my biggest adversary as of yet: narrow hallways. Curses)

'Flint, of you thinking you could safely disarm or detonate that bomb, feel free to do so, 'cause I'm afraid neither me nor Lucas could fit inside these hallways. What the hell was command thinking anyway, sending us to down here instead of A and B team.'

Think about where all the people inside the compound have seemingly dissapeared to.

"Miya, command thinks. They just don't want to tell what they're thinking about." Feyri said over the comms. "As for this place...who would make a police station into a fortress? Probably by the colonists before the madness.

"What we've got - they want us to go inside. It is too quiet. My guess? We search this place dry and find its weakpoints - if they're rigged, then at least we know the people's intention.

"Did anyone find any other routes from the station to the elevator other than the way we came by the way?"

@Miyamoto"Well, I'm not going to play 'operation' with a live bomb that I don't even know a)how powerful it is and b) if you could enter after it blows, so here is what I think: once we clear the front of the building Lukas can shoot the door, making the explosive on the other side... well, explode. Any objections?

@Feyri"The only place they could go that we haven't explored yet is the prison or the lower levels. Either way nothing we can do. If they had gone anywhere else command or we would have seen them. Also, I'm pretty sure they have already raided the armory. Anyway, I'm making my way to you now. We should finish exploring here before our trigger happy robot friends explode the entrance."

Take my chisel again and start using it to open doors in the hall Feyri is in.

For everyone's sake: The building is 3 levels tall. It has 4 windows on each level. Bishop and Sambo are hanging out on the third floor, in the room behind the second window. Everyone who entered through the ground floor did so through the second window and ended up in that holding cell.

Stacy, Team C Physimancer, Holding Cell.

"Ooh, somebody's been shot!"

Carefully look if it was my team who fired the shot. One it's ascertained that it was indeed Bishop, examine the young man in the chair. From a respectable distance, of course.

Wrong level. He's two floors above you.

@Miyamoto"Red leader, I'm making my way to the main entrance now. Is that OK or should I start exploring the cells here?"

@Faith"Hey, good kissing doctor! You have the other mining suit right? Do you want me to leave my auto chisel here so that you can explore the rest of the cells? There might be prisoners here. Or stored food depending on how you look at it."

Leave the chisel in the cell for Faith and start making my way to the main entrance as quietly as I can, unless instructed otherwise.

You prop your chisel up in one corner and then head out into the hall, sneaking as best you can in the heavy mechanical suit. None of the doors around you fly open, no crazed man with a space shotgun blows your head off, in fact you don't hear or see a single goddamn thing. You make it to the front door and take a look at it. It's been heavily barred, but thats not all. An explosive charge and trigger wires are set up on the door, clearly rigged to go if the door is forced open.

(Ha!  I was right the first time!  Curse you for confusing me, Spinal.)

Team D Useless person, Jobasio; Outside Po-Po Fortress

"Well. At this rate I might as well hike back to the other team and join them. I suppose I could try climbing up to this window myself, but with people getting shot left and right I'd feel rather silly if the injury putting me out of action was a sprained wrist or ankle."
Jobasio was sick of waiting around. For all he knew it was just as dangerous out here as in there.He slung his gauss rifle over a shoulder and walked back and forth, inspecting the wall thoughtfully.

"Of course," He mused, half-to-himself, one hand holding the stock of his rifle for reassurance as he paced along, "We can't exactly be sure how large this fortress goes. They could simply have retreated, further inside, or... deeper."

You hop up on the ledge of the first story window and, in one great leap manage to hurl yourself up and out just far enough to clear the top of the first story window alcove and wrap your fingers around the ledge of the second story window. You drag yourself up and do the same move again, finally making it into the same third floor room that Bishop and sambo went to make out in explore.

((I am completely lost as to where my position is, where my allies are and what is going on around me - I'm in some sort of locked jail cell, now unlocked, and the only other person I know I'm with is Flint.))

Found anything past our locked door, sir?

"Hey Bishop, other than collateral damage, why don't you check that room you're in for what else was with the man? Any devices of interrogation, implements or other instruments? I heard glass shattering and a gunshot, then nothing else.

"Also, the fort seems primarily made out of metal, just saying." she finished, tapping the hilt of her Tesla Sabre.

You're pretty much good on where you are. First floor, in a holding cell that you accessed via hoping through the window that Miyamoto opened for you.

"I really have to clear this visor and probability map.

Team A and B, how are things going there?"

((Well, your internal organs have been splattered. So your pretty dead dude. Thankfully, your brain and the rest of you is fine, so if we can get you in stasis in an hour you'd probably only have to get organ replacements and you're good to go.

The irony that a medic deals the fatal blow rather than the gauss rounds or the suddenly homicidal boyfriend with a razor is incredible. Then again, it's Mesk so it's kinda expected that this might happen. He REALLY needs a decompensator...))
