Oh I remember that.
However the monarch's demands quickly made that embark site a bit dull..
Should have focused on more important tasks first.
Soon less and less people were on that server.

You know I don't think there is anything more frustrating than finding you let two mods both add their own copper and tin to world gen. I wish there was a mod that just added a lot of different metals, that way other mods could just use theirs and you wouldn't end up with four types of tin.

Oh wait, there is a mod like that called Metallurgy, and nobody uses it! Damn mod makers, you should distribute free content that satisfies my OCD about having only one type of each copper.

You could pipe every ore or ingot thru a MFR unifier.

I think it's more the fact that you end up with way too much of those metals in the ground more than the fact that you get two different types. I know I've done that a few times and just abandoned the world because of the quantity of tin, copper and silver I was getting.

Its not that hard to just turn the copper/tin/etc off for all but one mod.

People said I should post here, so tell me how your favorite mod pack is the best.

I wouldn't bother with a modpack, just download and install your own setup.

I myself just put together several magic-based mods, not feeling any love for the tech-based ones at the moment.
So many people doing IC, Buildcraft all all those other confusing hi-tech mods.. I almost feel alone here.

Also.. I have chosen not to include Tinkers Construct, due to the way weapons are made with the other mods I have.
Maybe I'll include it when I find some mods which balances better with it.

I've been using Zan's
so this actually works? Because last time I tried it, it simply crashed.

It's been working perfectly for me, but I don't have a lot of mods set up for this version yet so I guess there could be compatibility issues with something you have.

Yea, it works. Has a lot of cool functions too!
I don't use it because minimaps just make things a little too easy sometimes. Compass and watch become useless.

I use minimaps to look for interesting features (I looooove the basalt and red cobblestone in Feed the Beast, so having a map to find them easier is grand) and to mark stuff that's a bitch to find (Clay in Terrafirmacraft, or home.)

I use Voxel Map. Mostly because it comes with the other Voxel stuff which I quite like.
