Well, that's if I wanted to replace the original creeper, correct?

The idea was more about different variations of monsters-I.E. the dried creeper I gave as an example is passive because it doesn't have any explosive charge anymore, but can only drop one gunpowder.

A different question while I wait for the mod API. Does anyone know if there are anymore active necromancy mods? The last two seem. . . dead. No pun intended, of course.

You could look into the code behind Tinker's Construct. He has a souped up creeper. Ars Magika also has a special creeper.

As for necromancy mod, it looks like Harken Scythe is adding it.
