but why would he? a tainted world is a beautiful world!
(i actually managed the quaesitum! and the philosopher stone!...I usually was an industriacraft 2 guy, but now, nothing stops me!)
If you get an energy collector and a condenser, then you will literally have limitless resources. At least construction resources. EE counts Stone, Basalt and Marble bricks as having a value of 1, meaning that you would get 1 stone/second with a single collector.

I used to think EE was better than thaumcraft, but because of this story, I now think the opposite. Its just so much more interesting.

Also, I will be dissapointed if the world is not completely tainted and screwed at some point.

This is precisely why I will not be using energy collectors. The rest of EE is useful and fairly well balanced without them. You can still throw resources into a condenser to change it into another item, etc.

I meant if blocks with seals on them can be moved short distances back and forth using mechanical stuff, for security.

I'll test if seals can be moved via pistons, I honestly have no idea.

And I do plan to deepen the moat further. I kind of hope to automate it a bit though. Its not much fun just digging, but it will get done one way or another. My next plan is to play with some railcraft and steve's carts stuff.

you could use quarries to dig it down. they keep on digging unless they hit magma. by then you actually have the moat easier filled with lava! (since when magma gets to surface it becomes lava!)

“Do something!” she whispered, trying to keep her sight on all of them at once.
Basileus clapped his hands once. The Forgotten took a step forward, attracted by the sound.

Well there's one question answered. A seal will fall off if you move the block it's attached to by pistons.

No, only the seal falls off. The essence is lost this way. You can retrieve the seal alone just by whacking it with a pickaxe.

I haven't updated because I'm waiting for everything to settle down to 1.2.5. Once that happens I will start this up again, don't worry.

Can't wait :)

I got the old mod to work and had a blast playing it, I ended up nuking massive swathes of land and somehow corrupting my game files though <_<

I deleted the files and am back to vanilla though, until the current version mod is released.
