http://www.quicktopic.com/47/H/kkvZAPdsEQiPSpecial things 1 - Cybrid Choice:Tiruin was actually given his choice of several cybrid roles - the Parasite was the one he wanted.
He was given the following options:
Machinator - You begin the game with two positronic brains, which you may use to turn other players into cybrids. These cybrids will have a role that is randomly chosen. In addition, you may utilize the Voice of the Emperor, the local communications system.
Goal: Convert the human//animal leader into one of our own. One of your positronic brains must be preserved//kept//maintained for this purpose. You are the only cybrid that can use the positronic brain, so you must survive//persevere until this happens. (Then, eliminate the rebels so they cannot kill your newly converted Emperor)
Hunter - You may commit night kills. In addition, you are immune to all night actions.
Goal: Kill everyone. Eliminate the human//animal leader. Leave no witnesses//observers//reporters.
Inquisitor - You are capable of detecting a targets sympathies and abilities. In addition, you may automatically see the full role of any killed player. Whenever a player dies, you may gain one of that players abilities. You may only have one duplicated ability at a time.
Goal: Kill everyone. Eliminate the human//animal leader. Leave no witnesses//observers//reporters.
Infiltrator Parasite - A new and experimental type of cybrid Trojan horse, you have the ability to implant yourself into new brains. As a night action, you may convert another player into an Infiltrator Parasite. You are killed.
Goal: Convert the human//animal leader. You do not need to accomplish this task personally.
Special Thing 2 - Colors! In the OP, Red was the number of starting cybrids, Blue was the number of starting Rebels, and Orange was the number of starting Double-Agents.
Green was just the color for the leftovers. Not the greatest secret, which is why I said not to think about it too hard.
I really need to add some proper puzzles to one of these. Anyway, moving on.
New RoleDouble Agent - Double agents will have genuine loyalty to one side, but may have access to enemy communications channels, a role from the opposing side (which may exist in conjunction with a neutral role or a role from their own side), and will always turn up as being loyal to the opposing side when expected. Double agents are only immune from Persuasion effects if they are an officer of the side to which they hold genuine loyalty - officer cover roles provide no protection against persuasion.
