Chapter 3: Destruction

And so in 1056, the Fury was Released, and the Inhabitants begun to Kill Each Other.
I waited within the Temple, with the other Hierarchs.
Two Hundred And Fourty Died to make clear Our Glory.
And Eighteen Lived.
And seated upon Ilulkatdir, I Waited.
I Waited as Anger and Hate tore apart the Foundations of this place.
And after some Months, Calm returned to the Halls, and the Animals were Butchered at the Temple.
But it would not be long lived.
There would be retribution for the misdeeds done to US.
The Traitors would suffer, and never be allowed to Die.
Their fate would be worse than death. And the Loyalists would see to it.

Chapter 4: Regicide

In 1058, the Unwary King and His Wife thought Us to be deserving of being the Mountainhome.
We were the crux of Security and Unity.
And so, He came.
And He was The Thirtyseventh.
The King was shown the Halls of History, and was left to beget Their Knowledge, and He Perished Righteously.
It was by My Hand that I ripped the Throat of the King, and tore the Guts of His Wife.
And I. Was. The King.

Some notes on the zombies. They are slower then us, so we have that advantage. Most of them are scared of US, and the wrestlers are uber-strong cause they've spent the whole undead year not sleeping and beating each other up.

Im getting impatient with My Own Story.

Chapter 5: Elvenfolk

These Caravans would stop, and 1059 would be a Year to remember.
And so the Traders were taken, and Caged, and put on Display.
They were goaded and admired, and examined and stripped and starved.
But They became the Thirtyeighth, the Thirtyninth, and the Thirtieth. Their Guardians fled, and They were alone.
And They were Drilled and Cut.
And They were Beaten and Dehydrated and Starved and Reclused.
And They were finally Released into the Caverns, where the Critters Slaughtered Them.
This is OUR FUCKING LAND.
THIS IS OUR FUCKING WORLD.

Chapter 6: Downfall

And now They want Me.
They Think I Have Lost My Mind.
They Think Me Insane. Berserk.
They Think I Will Never Finish My Artifact.
They Are Wrong.
And They Will All Die.
The Doors will be Sealed.
Their Defenses turned against Them.
I Will Be The Victor.
This Rebellion will be squashed, and these petty pathetic worms will suffer by My Hand.

Chapter 7: Icons

And Order was Restored.
The Rebellion quelled.
They dispatched Armies to stop Me, but our Warriors repelled Them at every corner.
I personally lifted a Man from the ground, and slammed His Weak Pathetic Husk upon the Stone Floor, before letting Him taste My Hammer.
The Violence was savory, and beautiful.
I personally slew at least two dozen of the insolent swits.
Their bodies broke like twigs under My Might.
And My Soldiers did away with the rest.
But I have received disturbing news, of a Miner in the Capitol, who did something wrong. Very wrong.
I was told even by My most trusted Informants to prepare to flee. And hide.
I made preperations, just to be safe.


Good News: The Backstory is over, and the next Chapter will be the actual Story getting going. All of this was essential to set the scene, but from now on, Story!

It looks very imressive so far but what I'm really looking forward to is how you're gonna explain how Chilton Mcmassmurderer turned into Chilton McGhoststolemyclothes

Thats just it. Thats what Im trying to get to. All this is showing how merciless and violent He was. From here on, it gets more interesting. In fact, screw schedules. Have another Chapter.

Chapter 8: Righteousness

They were right. I dont know what happened, but black dust litters the air. Plants die, and fields perish. Fire levels forests, and pure Evil roams the World.
The Preperations I had made proved imperative.
I had a Ship and a brigade of Warriors prepared to take Us away. We had provisions enough to make it North, to the Human Colonies.
I rallied all of My Loyalists, and We set out. But We were late to the match.
We were assaulted, by a stream of crazed individuals, led by Demons. We engaged them on the Fields of Highland.
Nearly all of Us perished in the bitter conflict. I tried to save those Loyal to Me, but the Conflict was relentless.
I saw My Family torn limb from limb. I saw Warriors ripped in half and tossed accross the field. I saw Officers being feasted upon. Men burnt to death around Me. I was shot by an arrow in the gut, and was unable to stand.
I saw Animals broken and bloodied, and torn and crippled.
I saw a Baby with a split skull.
We barely survived.
And now here I lie, in a Cave. I have regrets. Too many regrets. I did so much. My intentions were just. I only wanted to make the world a safer place. But even I can see that I descended into borderline insanity.
I neglected what was really important. Now that everything that was important to Me was destroyed.
But the screams of the dieing, and battered echo in My Ears.
I dont know what to say.

EDIT: Also, having His Clothes stolen can be a way of stripping Him of His Egotism.

Might sound lame but I think the story of Markedangels is kinda awsome, the way that everyone inputs different backgroundstories that later mixes together

Hows that lame? I enjoyed it so much I typed out this entire massive backstory Im not even half way through posting!

I kinda want to just post the entire Story and cut the suspense.
I wish to see the opinions of others! Have I deluded Myself into thinking a delay between Chapters is a good idea, or am I WISE?!
